I'm Graham, your driver-guide, walking-guide and attractions guide: bringing London to life with commentary and chat on my private London tours. I've put together a nice selection of tours to help us explore the best of London: • London Highlights. • London Big Day Out. • Royal London. • Beatles + Rock'n Roll. • London Horror. • Hampton Court Palace. • British Museum. • National Gallery. • Greenwich. • English Countryside. • Jewish History in London. • Black History in London. • Driving tours: in the ideal vehicle for sightseeing - a licensed London taxi. Lots of stops on driving tours and all tours have short walks to get close to the attractions and sights. • Walking tours: always get close to, or inside, the sights and attractions or through the streets of London. • All tours: I'll explain as we explore and I welcome questions from curious clients. Transportation on driving tours: Door-2-Door Service (pick up and drop off anywhere in central London). Meeting locations for walking or attractions tours: always easy to find and some have a pick-up from your hotel (depending on where you're staying). I have been a tour guide since the dawn of the 21st century! and have four guiding qualifications: • City of London • City of Westminster • London Taxi Guide • St Paul's Cathedral. I have a History BA too, so deep background knowledge. And I'm a real licensed London taxi driver, having completed the world famous 'Knowledge of London' in 2000. I'm also a published London historian. My book is 'Guildhall. City of London'. It's a history of one of London's oldest buildings (600+ years). Guildhall is public, free and worth a visit, possibly during one of my London Highlights tours. • My Mercedes Vito London taxi is clean, has air-con and carries up to six passengers. London taxis are fully wheelchair accessible and disability travel-friendly (ramp, hand bars). ---------------------------------------------------- City of London Guide, City of Westminster Guide, London Taxi Tour Guide, St Paul's Cathedral Guide, London Taxi Driver (black cab), History BA. Hons, Published London historian, Associate Member of the Institute of Tourist Guiding . . . and proud Londoner. Only two attractions where I don't have guiding accreditation: Westminster Abbey, Tower of London.

As a born and bred London guide I enjoy providing commentary and stories about all our tour locations and London's great landmarks: British Museum - The world's greatest collection of human history, culture and art. We see: Egyptian mummies, Rosetta Stone, Assyrian Lamassu, Parthenon Marbles, Roman & Celtic crafts, an Anglo-Saxon Ship Burial + more. I select the best from 1-million exhibits! Free entry. National Gallery - The most comprehensive collection of western art, in one amazing gallery. We see: Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael, Caravaggio, Titian, Vermeer, Rembrandt, Monet, van Gogh + more. I select the best from 2-thousand paintings! Free entry. National Portrait Gallery (alternative to National Gallery - you decide): The story of Britain; through royalty, politics, art, science, literature and music. Portraits in paint and photography. This is the world’s largest collection of portraits, providing a unique look at Britain's identities and cultures from the 1500s to today. Free entry.
10.00: Meet outside the Museum Tavern, Great Russell Street, opposite the British Museum. 10.00: British Museum, National Gallery (or National Portrait Gallery). 16.00: Tour end at Trafalgar Square. Lunch is usually an easy meal in one of the attraction cafe's, all of which are very good, or during the interesting stroll between the attractions. Having a walking guide like me is super-efficient and will help to make the day enjoyable and memorable. We're always close to coffee shops and places for bathroom breaks.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
Between the British Museum and National Gallery travel is on foot (25 mins +/-) or taxi, we decide as we tour. Taxi is quicker – not included in price.
