A Day's tour in the Cotswolds from London

My name says it all, or does it? My family originate from mid-Wales but in actual fact, I was brought in Portsmouth on the South Coast of England. When I left school I headed for the bright lights of the city and joined the Metropolitan Police with which I stayed until 2012 finishing my service as a Detective Inspector. Between 2011 and 2013 I trained qualified as a London Blue Badge Guide and so have been trained to guide the British Museum, St Paul's Cathedral and the National Gallery. As a Blue Badge Guide, I am one of the few guides authorised to guide in Westminster Abbey, Tower of London and Windsor Castle. I now seek out hidden corners and delight in the smiles on the faces of my new friends when we discover something new (I always headed down back alleys and side streets when on patrol and that habit stays with me). My tours are focused on London but I enjoy day trips out of the City and regularly travel out to Stonehenge, and Windsor.
