I offer tours of Bath, Stonehenge, Avebury, Wells, Cheddar, Glastonbury, stately homes and beautiful villages surrounding Bath. I was born and grew up in Bath so if you would like a tour with a local, look no further - I am what locals call a genuine Bathonian! Travelling has been in my blood since I was young. I have been fortunate to visit many places in the world from Europe to Latin America, South East Asia, USA and Australia. However as Dorothy in the film "The Wizard of Oz" says: "There is no place like home" and so after working for a global tour operator I have settled back in Bath where I am surrounded by a beautiful city, lovely countryside and my family. Today I take great delight in showing visitors around my home city and the local area. If you are visiting Bath for the first time check out my Bath City Walking Tour which will give you a great introduction to the city. For those looking for a unique experience I have also created a tour where you can combine this with the opportunity to fly a hawk in the countryside which is an incredible experience. As I have a vehicle I also take visitors on tours of Stonehenge which is only 50 minutes from Bath as well as to other fascinating places such as Avebury, Wells, Cheddar and some of the charming villages around the city. The vehicle also allows me to do sightseeing transfers to/from Bath - from airports, ports and London. I can also customise tours and in the past I have taken visitors to Stately homes in the area e. g. Longleat House, Stourhead and to places like Salisbury Cathedral (which has a copy of the 1215 Magna Carta). If it is not an area of my expertise I will let you know. Do take a look at my reviews. In 2022 I was thrilled to win the "Experience of the Year" category in the regional tourism awards. My goal is to give you a wonderful experience during your stay. I hope I will meet you and have the chance to show you around my home city and the area that I affectionately call the West Country. Experience of the Year Gold Award in the 2021/22 Bristol Bath and Somerset Tourism Awards. All licenses required to transport passengers in my vehicle. Member of Visit Bath (Bath's official tourism organisation). Born and raised in Bath and experienced global traveller! NONE

Lacock and Castle Combe are two of the most famous villages near Bath. Both of these beautiful villages have changed little over the centuries making them popular settings for films and TV series e. g. Harry Potter, Downton Abbey and War Horse. Castle Combe was once voted the prettiest village in England! I will take you on a guided walking tour of these villages. I will show you traditional village features such as a tithe barn, a blind-house and houses dating over 500 years old. I will also show you places which have been used in films. We will drive through parts of the Cotswolds, an area designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. I will explain more about this famous area including why a sheep appears on its logo and some rather unusual stories! When I travel I like to try the local food so at the end of our tour I will take you to a place where you can try a very famous English snack, the English Cream Tea - scones with clotted cream, jam and a pot of tea - delicious!
• I will collect you from Bath at 1:30pm and drive you to the village of Lacock, approx. 45 minutes away. • I will take you on a walking tour of the village centre to show you its historic buildings and some of the filming locations. I will show you Lacock Abbey - a picturesque country home that is now a museum. If you would like to go inside please let me know (admission prices will apply). • After visiting Lacock I will drive you through the Cotswolds to the tiny village of Castle Combe, approx. 20 minutes away. • I will take you on a walking tour of the village and explain about its history and the Cotswolds. • Before the 35 minute journey back to Bath we will stop to sample the famous English Cream Tea - a must for anyone visiting England! We will return to Bath around 6. 30pm. The tour operates between March and October. It can be customised e. g. to include the Abbey or to operate in the Winter. To customise the tour please message me.

I will drive you in my modern, air-conditioned vehicle - a Ford Galaxy. I am licensed to carry 6 passengers. The 2 seats in the 3rd row can accommodate adults but I would advise against these for tall adults.
Bath, England, United Kingdom
I will collect you from your accommodation in Bath or alternatively from a central location in the city e.g. the Bath Spa train station.
