If like me you enjoy trying new experiences and doing city tours to get to know your destination, read on - this tour does both! I will take you on a great introductory tour of Bath - the place where I was born. We will visit my favourite viewpoint to give you a great perspective of Bath and we will walk around the centre of Bath to show you all of the city's famous landmarks. I will tell you about Bath's history, how it became the country's most fashionable place to visit and the interesting stories behind the buildings and past residents such as Jane Austen. After lunch at one of my favourite pubs surrounding Bath I will drive you to a picturesque village where a small non-for-profit organisation runs a falconry and an owlery. The falconry offers visitors the unforgettable experience to learn simple falconry techniques and fly one of their magnificent hawks - which you will do! I will join you to help capture some great holiday photos and at the end of the experience I will drive you back to Bath.
• I will collect you and drive you to the viewpoint, just 5 minutes from the centre of Bath. • We will then continue the tour on foot in the centre of Bath. For the next 2. 5 hours I will show you all of the city's famous landmarks and tell you stories about the city's history and residents. • We will drive to a charming English pub on the outskirts of Bath for lunch. We will have just over an hour for lunch before we continue to the falconry, approx. 15 minutes away. • A local falconer will introduce you to their birds and guide you through your hawk flying experience. The experience at the falconry takes between 1 - 1. 5 hours depending on how quickly you feed the hawk! At the end of the experience I will drive you back to Bath, arriving between 3:30pm and 4pm. • The hawk flying is subject to favourable weather conditions. In the event of poor weather you will fly owls indoors instead which is an equally fantastic experience! This tour can be customised so if you prefer to fly owls please message me.

The majority of the tour is on foot (walking). For the hawk experience you will be walking on grass so please wear suitable footwear. I will use my car to transfer us between locations (e.g. to and from the falconry). I drive an air-conditioned vehicle - a Ford Galaxy.
