I offer tours of Bath, Stonehenge, Avebury, Wells, Cheddar, Glastonbury, stately homes and beautiful villages surrounding Bath. I was born and grew up in Bath so if you would like a tour with a local, look no further - I am what locals call a genuine Bathonian! Travelling has been in my blood since I was young. I have been fortunate to visit many places in the world from Europe to Latin America, South East Asia, USA and Australia. However as Dorothy in the film "The Wizard of Oz" says: "There is no place like home" and so after working for a global tour operator I have settled back in Bath where I am surrounded by a beautiful city, lovely countryside and my family. Today I take great delight in showing visitors around my home city and the local area. If you are visiting Bath for the first time check out my Bath City Walking Tour which will give you a great introduction to the city. For those looking for a unique experience I have also created a tour where you can combine this with the opportunity to fly a hawk in the countryside which is an incredible experience. As I have a vehicle I also take visitors on tours of Stonehenge which is only 50 minutes from Bath as well as to other fascinating places such as Avebury, Wells, Cheddar and some of the charming villages around the city. The vehicle also allows me to do sightseeing transfers to/from Bath - from airports, ports and London. I can also customise tours and in the past I have taken visitors to Stately homes in the area e. g. Longleat House, Stourhead and to places like Salisbury Cathedral (which has a copy of the 1215 Magna Carta). If it is not an area of my expertise I will let you know. Do take a look at my reviews. In 2022 I was thrilled to win the "Experience of the Year" category in the regional tourism awards. My goal is to give you a wonderful experience during your stay. I hope I will meet you and have the chance to show you around my home city and the area that I affectionately call the West Country. Experience of the Year Gold Award in the 2021/22 Bristol Bath and Somerset Tourism Awards. All licenses required to transport passengers in my vehicle. Member of Visit Bath (Bath's official tourism organisation). Born and raised in Bath and experienced global traveller! NONE

When I travel I enjoy hearing about local legends and witnessing unusual customs. You do not have to travel too far from Bath to experience this for yourself! Glastonbury is one of England's most unusual towns. The small town is renowned for its legends relating to King Arthur, Jesus, the Holy Grail and Celtic gods. Today it is a popular place for yoga, meditation and New Age Spiritualism. Inside the town's tourist office you may even find a map of supernatural energy lines, known as ley lines, that are said to run through the town! During this walking tour we will visit Glastonbury Abbey - said to be the burial place of King Arthur and Glastonbury Tor - the region's most famous landmark. I will tell you about Glastonbury's fascinating legends and stories. You will have the option to climb to the Tor where you will be rewarded with panoramic views or instead you can browse the town's unique and unusual shops where you can purchase items such as crystals, art and objects related to spiritualism and magic!
• I will collect you from Bath and drive you to Glastonbury, 1 hour away. • Walking through the centre of Glastonbury I will show you some of the town's interesting features including the famous Glastonbury Thorn which is linked to a Christian legend. • We will visit Glastonbury Abbey where I will guide you around the picturesque gardens and ruins and explain about its history and fascinating legends. We will spend approx. 45 minutes at the Abbey. • After visiting the Abbey you will have the option of either walking up a nearby hill to reach the Glastonbury Tor or having free time to browse Glastonbury's unique shops. There are approx. 260 steps to reach the Tor and it takes around 20 minutes to reach the summit. If you would like to go to the Tor I will also show you the nearby White and Red Springs which are said to have healing powers. • After our visit I will drive you back to Bath. This tour can be customised to include other attractions or locations. Please message me to customise the tour.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
I will drive you in my private air-conditioned car which is licensed to carry up to 6 passengers. The 2 seats in the 3rd row can accommodate adults but I would advise against these for tall adults. We will be exposed to the weather during the tour so please bring suitable clothing.
Bath, England, United Kingdom
I will collect you from your accommodation in Bath or alternatively from a central location in the city e.g. the Bath Spa train station.
