Ephesus Private Tour with Local Shopping Experience

This tour exceeded our expectations, Erkan Z was very informed of the area and gave us all options available so that our group could take in everything they wanted. The personal touch was remarkable and very appreciated by the entire group. I would highly recommend using Tours by Locals and in particular Erkan Z. I will definitely be using this company again. Highly recommend this review and Erkan Z as the guide. She was very knowledgeable and keep the tour moving at a proper pace. Her English was perfect. She kept in contact with other tour guides/contacts and made some changes to order of site visits to avoid the crowds and it really helped. She took us to places where we could see/learn about the rug making (including getting silk from silkworms) and a family owned pottery. Overall a great experience.

Erkan was terrific. Very informative and willing to go off script. Great tour of Ephesus. Be sure to do the Terrace houses. Lunch afterwards at one of the weaving schools. Very good food. Tour of how rugs are made is interesting. Then the sales pitch but if you are interested in a rug this is probably the place to get it. Would recommend this or any tour with Erkan.

What a wonderful day. Erkan met us right off the cruise ship and had a car and driver waiting. She offered opinions of many things to do and see. We did many but opted out of some suggestions. She gave lots of interesting insights as we walked through the many sights. She found us a fun local place for a wonderful lunch. We highly enjoyed the day and would recommend Erkan!
