Religious Ephesus & Mary's House Tour From Kusadasi -Shore Excursion

We had such a great day with Fatima! She was so knowledgeable and did a wonderful job explaining the history of each place we visited. Ephesus was easily one of the highlights of our day. It was amazing to walk through such a well-preserved ancient city. We also visited the House of the Virgin Mary, St John's Basilica, and the castle overlooking Kusadasi, where we got some incredible views and some of our favorite pictures. The day wasn't just about the historical sites, though. We enjoyed a delicious farm-to-table lunch, learned how Turkish carpets are made starting with silkworms, watched a fun leather fashion show, and finished the day with Turkish delights and pomegranate tea. The whole day was well organized without ever feeling rushed. Fatima was friendly, informative, and made sure we had a chance to experience so much more than we would have on our own. We left with a much better understanding of Turkey and some wonderful memories. I would absolutely recommend this tour with Fatima! From Emily

This tour was the highlight of our trip! Fatma was very sweet and knowledgeable! We did this tour as an excursion while at port on Royal Caribbean Odyssey of the Sea. Fatma was punctual when we met up and she responded to messages quickly and even called us earlier in the day of our tour. She was easy to find at the meet-up location and got us off on our tour quickly. We loved Ancient Ephesus, Mary’s house and our lunch! Fatma called the different sites to find out the length of the lines and she rearranged what we were doing to limit our waiting in line. It was an amazing experience! I would highly recommend using Fatma for a tour.

This was a fantastic tour to understand the history and culture of Ephesus. Fatma did a great job managing the schedule to avoid the crowds. She is extremely knowledgeable and very engaging. I highly recommend her for any tour you want to do in the area.

Fatma was wonderful. She was very passionate and knowledgeable. She took us where we wanted to go and as bonuses to learn about Turkish rug creating and a Turkish delight store without pressure for buying. Overall a great experience. She also speaks very good English.
