Meet with with me in front of the Kusadasi port passenger Terminal. Drive to the country. See the TEMPLE OF ARTEMIS, one of the wonders of the ancient world. Then a visit to EPHESUS is a visit to one of the best preserved ancient cities in the world. Ancient historians believed that Ephesus was founded by the Amazons, but now, it is believed to have been the Hittite city of Apasa. With your guide, you will see the Odeion, where the advisory council held its meetings and the Baths, as well as many other columns, monuments and ruins, including the Celsus Library. Your next stop will be the house where Mother Mary is believed to have spent her last years, a spiritually significant site, particularly revered by faithful Catholics. En-route to Kusadasi enjoy the scenery or shopping opportunity.
Denizhan is a fabulous guide. He was early to the meeting point and immediately began sharing his knowledge of his home city and country. His tour of Ephesus was expertly handled and provided so much information on what we were seeing. It was truly a great experience.
Denizhan was awesome! We chatted ahead of time to customize the tour. He met us at the port with driver and van. We drove to Ephesus - visited Ephesus, the Ephesus Experience Museum, and the Terrace Houses. He had excellent knowledge of the site and history of the region and provided plenty of detail and answered our questions. We also stopped at Basilica of St. John and saw the one remaining column of the Temple of Artemis. Along the way, we stopped at a Turkish delight store (plenty of samples), a pottery shop (short demonstration of kickwheel pottery making), and Turkish carpet cooperative. He also took us to a local Turkish restaurant where we had lunch. We would absolutely join him on a tour again.

Very professional from start to finish - and we learned more in the first 5 minutes with him than all day with other guides.
