Tolga was simply fantastic. He had a great van waiting for the 10 of us. He took us to all of the places we wanted to see and knew how to beat the crowds and where to go when. We had a great lunch and saw how real rugs are made. We learned so much from him about his life and culture and family. I highly recommend scheduling a tour with Toga.
We had a day with Tolga as our guide. He picked us up at our hotel and we arrived at Mary’s house in Ephesus (my main goal) ahead of the crowds and so was able to really take it in. He then shared his knowledge as we visited the ancient ruins in Ephesus and St John’s basilica. Enjoyed a traditional/delicious Turkish lunch as we learned more about Turkeys history and culture. It was easy to arrange and communicate prior to our trip , we received prompt responses and was able to tailor the day to our schedule. Highly recommend,
Tolga was a superb guide. Look nowhere else. He's been guiding since he was five years old. His dad was one of the first guides in Ephesus. He took us places and told us things we were stunned by. His knowledge is encyclopedic. His wife is a guide. His sister-in-law is a guide as well. In that family, there is nothing they do not know about Ephesus. We visited the ancient city, Mary's final dwelling place, a rug market demonstration, a good lunch, and an out-of-the-way pottery place which was beatiful.
I welcome you at Kusadasi Port and we drive to Virgin Mary House. It takes 25 minutes to arrive. We can arrange the timing according to your wish but generally half an hour is good enough. We then go to Ephesus. We spend approximately one and a half hour tour in the ancient site. After Ephesus we visit Basilica of St. . john for half an hour from where ı show you the temple of Artemis. We get our delicious local lunch in a beautiful garden. We head back to the port at the end. This tour can be customized
