Our guide in Ephesus, Zeynep, was outstanding. She brought the ancient city to life without turning it into a lecture. Walking Curetes Street toward the Library of Celsus, she explained what we were seeing clearly, interestingly, and in a way that was easy to follow—even in the heat. The pacing was excellent. She knew when to stop for photos, when to find shade, and how to keep us together without making us feel herded. The Great Theatre, the terrace houses, and the everyday details of Roman life (the shops, the baths, the public latrines) all made more sense because of their stories. She welcomed questions, and she never made us feel rushed. What we appreciated most was the balance: real historical knowledge plus practical care for the group. She made a large, famous site feel personal and well organized. If you’re visiting Ephesus, this is the kind of guide you want. Highly recommend.
