My first breath was taken in Chamberí, one of the most typical and charming districts of Madrid. Since then, my heart has been beating with the rhythm of my city. Since 2009, I have built a profession in the cultural and tourism sector through the creation and development of activities in Museums and street tours for public and private institutions. As a tour guide, make people know and experience Madrid is the best way to correspond to the life it gives to me. PhD in Art History (UAM, 2018), I am also an Associate Professor in two Private Universities in Madrid. With a fully licensed tour guide, Museum Educator and PhD in Art History and Associate Professor at the University, this is a tour for people that want to be initiated or to get an insight on a unique collection dating back 200 years. This "Museum of Painters" is must-see in Madrid (must-see twice if it is not your first time in the city). For 3 hours (recommended), I will introduce the history of the building, the institution, the collection, and we will aim at understanding the largest holdings of the European and Spanish Art since the 15th to the 19th century. *If you have a specific itinerary in mind send me a message and I'll customize the tour for you.

Our tour of the Prado with Ana was nothing short of wonderful. It was full of Spanish history and how and where various paintings fit into that history. It covered hidden meanings and not so hidden meanings. It covered brush strokes and techniques. And Ana was ever so pleasant throughout.

Ana was truly knowledgeable and personable. She identified themes in the artworks that carried through from the Prado to the Reina Sofia, and was an excellent communicator. She skillfully moved us through the museums to relevant and illustrative selections of Spanish artists, giving us increased appreciation of the masterpieces and the times that the artists lived in.
