Hola! My name is Laura, I'm from Córdoba and I'm looking forward to showing you this part of the world where you will discover the magic and the magnificence of History and Humanity. Since I graduated with a Tourism degree from Córdoba University in 2006, I carried on training (traveling) and learning about different cultures around the world, cultural heritage and Art, and I have realized how much I love spending my time with people from everywhere. But It wasn't until graduating in History of Art, in 2011, when I discovered how much I love explaining people the importance and the beauty of Córdoba. During my works of investigations to get a Master about Cultural-Historical Heritage in Andalucía, I was travelling around this area improving my knowledge and skills in History and working as a History teacher in Seville for 5 years. Now, as a licensed local Guide since 2017, I have changed my students for travelers an I'm spending the best years of my life making people understand the importance of this city, not only for Spain, but for the History of Humanity. Córdoba was the home of Seneca and Maimonides, the home of flowers and a cultural melting pot where the three biggest religions lived together with a certain harmony. Are you ready to discover it? Graduated in Art's History from University of Córdoba. Master in Historical and Cultural Andalusian and South America Heritage from University of Seville. Fully Official and Licensed Andalucía Tourist Guide . Licensed Guide and Interpreter for The Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba . General Secretary of Professional Tour Guide Association of Córdoba. Member of Professional Official Tour Guide Spanish Association (CEFAPIT). I´M NOT A DRIVER BUT FOR THE TOUR WE NEED A TRANSPORTATION I FIND A CAR WITH A DRIVER

People from here we normally say that Córdoba belongs to flowers and flowers belong to Córdoba. And that's true! the value of flowers, not only its beauty, but also its smell and its freshness are part of our cultural legacy from Medieval Times. So, after visiting the Mosque-Cathedral, because this is the must and necessary to understand the origin of this town, I'll lead you to some of these places where flowers living and where you'll be able to realize our relationship with them as a part of our workaday: The first stop will be Flowers Street (an instagram point as modern people say), just a few minutes from the Mosque-Cathedral; San Basilio Quarter, an area full of typical houses with a "patio" inside where we can meet with the owners and the keepers of their patios. Obviously, depending on the season, we'll visit a different number of houses. Anyway, knowing our houses, our patios and its flowers is a cultural experience that will always be in your mind.
We could start speaking about the fascinating origin of this city just in front of the most ancient construction that we preserve: -The Roman Bridge (with a beautiful view of our Guadalquivir river). -Then it is the moment for the amazing and unique Mosque-Cathedral. -Walking down the narrow streets we'll come across the amazing "Flowers Street". -Just in a few minutes, and in our way to San Basilio Quarter, we'll get at the Jewish Quarter looking for some Patios. -Finally, and if the season is suitable, we'll visit San Basilio Quarter and some of its houses.
