I am the third generation of tour guides in my family and I am also the founder of the first local Tour Agency in Europe which puts together local Heritage, genre fiction, multimedia & crafted entertainment to enhance your experience when visiting my hometown! I am responsible of the first tour agency ever producing media as the internationally awarded "Granny's Anniversary" short film and the feature film "The Golden Witch" that is currently in post-production. These audiovisual products promote Cordoba in a different way containing details about local food & wine or places to visit among other references. Besides this, what I do is offer tailor-made cultural visits based on the personal interest of each client. Beyond that, I also offer experiences that mix live tour guiding, media projection, fictional contents, sound & music plus life radio broadcasting to personalize your tour. In other words, on the one hand, I will help you discover the heritage of Cordoba, a city with 4 different UNESCO World Heritage accreditations, through private tours made to your liking. On the other hand I'll also provide narrations that put this heritage into value through 100% original experiences. Putting together my creativity, passion and narrative storytelling techniques I am able to give you a unique personal experience while visiting Córdoba in Spain. I am not giving you a speech. I am showing you to understand, enjoy and realise how lucky we are to be alive and how incredible we are as human beings when we work together. - Official, fully licensed Tour Guide from Junta de Andalucía - Official interpreter of the Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba - Official interpreter of Alhambra of Granada - HALAL Tourism certification - KOSHER Tourism certification - RASGO guide: specialist in Sephardic Jewish background - International Tourist Receptionist: able to work out religious/cultural needs you may need during your trip - Tourism Management University Degree - Escuela de Turismo de Córdoba/UNED - Master of Arts in Film and Media Producing - New York Film Academy as Fulbright Student - Advance Certificate in Creative and Cultural Industries' Creation and Consolidation Córdoba Chamber of Commerce/INCYDE Foundation - Several Certificates in Creative Writing, Filmmaking, Producing and Editing by University of Córdoba, Andalusia Film Archive, Vive7 TV I am not a driver. This is the tour to learn where the power from different communities has been settled for ages in such a historically important city: from Romans to the Christian rule, including the presence of Visigoths, Muslims & Jews. From the ancient Rome to the modern times, this place is the exact spot where this power resided: inside the castle of the most important State in Europe's Middle Ages: Al-Ándalus State. On this experience, we'll visit the only European Caliphate private baths, the place where the Caliph of Córdoba was doing his mandatory ablutions as to prepare himself to address the world from arguably the most-impressive mosque ever made on Earth. You'll be able to see a physical mix of archaeological remains where more than 2000 years are together in a single spot. We'll also access the Alcázar of Córdoba, the fortress where all Christian Kings had been living including Isabella & Ferdinand as well as the headquarters of the Spanish Inquisition for centuries. Customizable itinerary:
We’ll begin at the Caliphate Baths of Córdoba, a site recently enhanced to reveal both public bathing traditions in the Islamic world and the Caliph’s private life. We’ll explore the ruler’s personal quarters and the additional rooms used by family members for beauty and health. Next, we’ll head to the Alcázar of Córdoba to trace its evolution through the centuries. There, we’ll see a remarkably preserved Roman sarcophagus beside the bust of the writer and philosopher Seneca. In the Mosaic Hall, unique Roman floor mosaics will help us understand daily life and cultural values of the time. We’ll also visit the remains of Inquisition cells to clarify myths and historical realities. We’ll end in the flower gardens, where the statues of the Catholic Monarchs and Columbus invite reflection on Europe’s encounter with the Americas. You may then relax in the gardens or climb the towers.
