In this tour you will discover the city built by the caliph Abd al-Rahman III starting between 936 and 940. After he had proclaimed himself caliph in 929, he decided to show his subjects and the world his power by building a palace-city 8 km from Córdoba. This important place was declared World Heritage Site by Unesco on 1st July 2018, so it is the last monument that received this title in the city.
