Overview of your Porto tour
A Private Tour by car from the city of Porto to Guimaraes, where Portugal was born in the 12th century. Also, a tour of the city of Braga, elected the 2nd best destination in Europe for 2019. We will walk on the ancient streets of the city and discover the authentic places among the local friendly people. Always with the highlights in mind. The first castle from the 10th century is still preserved, the Royal House Casa dos Duques from the 14th century and the old center of the city are some of the highlights of the old city of Guimaraes. Then a visit to the city of Braga, Bracara Augusta has the Romans call it, and it's Santuary of Bom Jesus and its 800 steps, with the first water moved elevator tram in the world, still in use, and it's beautiful views over miles, also, we will visit Braga Cathedral and Sameiro Church. This tour is flexible and will adapt to your preferences.
Your Porto tour itinerary
-Leaving from the city of Porto, in the highway for about 1 hour, we will arrive to the city of Guimaraes. After a visit to the first Castle of Portugal and the Casa dos Duques, our first Royal House, we will proceed to the old center of the Town, to walk around and have lunch in the main square, outside if the weather is inviting. -After lunch we proceed to the city of Braga, a short distance away, and visit the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus "Good Jesus" and the wonderful views over the city, also, we will visit Braga Cathedral and Sameiro Church. The back trip to Porto is done in the highway and it takes about 1 hour.
