Private Experience with the Flavors of Amarante

Hello, my name is João Pedro I am a tour guide in my own city, in the north region of Portugal! A local guide! I was born and raise in Amarante, a beautiful city in the north of Portugal and since I was a child I had an adventurous spirit and the desire to discovery the nature and the history that was around me. This adventurous spirit took me to do a master degree in physical education with specialization in nature sports. When I finish my academic education, I challenged myself to leave Portugal to work in a cruise company that allowed me to travel around the world, have different perspectives and new experiences that could improve my knowledge and education. In this experience I had the chance to travel around the world try different sports, become a indoor skydiving instructor (ifly) and work with shore excursion and the curiosity to become a tour guide began there. When I finish my experiences in the cruise ship I move to Paris and I live there for two years. After this time, I return to my hometown and decided to open my own turism company with my wife! Our experiences will show you the history, traditions, nature and flavors of our region in Portugal. Now I am a guide for more than two years in my own company and I offer different experiences that you can take to get to know the region and the traditions. From nature tour, jeep tours, hiking tours, city tours, horse riding tour, kayak, cultural tours, wine tours, flavors tours, bicycle tours, workshops to cooking classes, you can choose and plan a tour tail made for you or just take one of our tours! I will make sure that you are comfortable and happy during your experience with me and you feel that you are with a local friend exploring the region. And I usually say Discover with Locals is always a good idea! I am enthusiastic, full of knowledge about the region and I know exactly what you need to visit to get to know the place!
