Overview of your Porto tour
Enjoy a trip to one of the most beautiful wine region in the world with someone that love his country and have been showing it enthusiastically around for more than 6 years. I provide a learning experience: make people happy. See the region by through the felling of an expert local private guide in Porto and Douro Valley. During the visit you will have two diferente tasting experiences, one more familiar and other one in one of the most modern wineries of the Region, with a maximum of 18 wines taste. The first one is a Family House, here you will taste top wines from different farms from Douro Valley and talk with the owner, In the second tasting you will go to a State of Art Winery. After you will have a picturesque lunch in a restaurant, one of the top restaurants in the Douro Valley with a tasting menu and many traditional dishes and wines.

We had a lovely day trip to the Douro Valley with Pedro. He arranged for a private wine testing at the home of Ronald and his wife, where we tasted several wines accompanied by tidbits while sitting on a deck overlooking vineyards. It was wonderful. This was followed by lunch (with wine of course) at an excellent restaurant and a port tasting at a modern winery. Pedro clealry knows good food and wine and was an excellent guide. We highly recommend him.

This was a fabulous tour unlike any we've had before. If you're interested in a complete wine tour of the Douro and you are a group of 4 or less, this is the tour for you. We tasted 20 wines and ports in the 3 locations as well as an excellent lunch of typical Portuguese food as well as a surprise lagniappe private Douro boat trip. Doesn't get any better than this.
