Hi, I'm Ana, a passionate about tourism, heritage, Portugal and the North! Porto and the North of Portugal represent for me: my roots, family, authentic traditions, contact with nature, holidays, the Flavours of the land and sea, the sound of seagulls, the gentle smile, and much more!! Come with me on a visit and learn about the history, architecture and charm of Porto and the North! I will give you the opportunity to visit monuments, but also to know the unique character of its inhabitants and I will not forget to mention several curiosities and even some intrigues of the time . . . The Jewish heritage in Porto is one of my best rated tours, that I provide in this city. Join me and meet genuine and emblematic sites that enhance the history of Portugal! ✅ Some advice: If you prefer a quieter time with fewer people, I recommend making your reservation during the afternoon. The most popular tourist attractions are São Bento Station, the Lello Bookstore, and the Cathedral, especially in the morning. At the food Market Bolhão there are many people between 12:00 and 3:00 PM. Tourism and Hospitality Bachelor; Cultural Heritage Master Degree; Arouca Geopark Certified Tour Guide (included: : bridge 516, Paiva passadiços) Covid 19 fully vaccinated Clean & Safe Certificate, for Tour Guides. Porto is a city with many historical attractions, dating back from the Medieval time till these days. In this tour we will visit the market and the old grocery stores, so you can understand the food habits of the local population and the main ingredients used in the Portuguese kitchen. We will have the chance to share stories and local recipes, to taste some food, to appreciate the details of each place, as well as to understand something about the local lifestyle. On the second part of this tour, you will get to know the most traditional places in the city: Sé and Barredo quarter. Colorful houses, hiden streets, cobblestone pavement, laundry in the balconies. . . are among some of the charming things you will see in there.
-Bolhão Market with tasting; -Groceries shop; -Shopping area; -Sé quarter; -Barredo quarter; -Ribeira Quarter; Please notice that the local market is closed on Sunday, and the typical shops can be closed on Saturday afternoon and are also closed on Sunday. If you wish to book the tour on a Sunday, I can suggest you an alternative activity, such as a food tasting.
