Essential Portugal: 4 Days of History, Culture, and Flavors

The most beautiful experience! You will have the opportunity to explore seven cities in Central and Northern Portugal and enjoy seven included experiences during the visits. In the comfort of a Mercedes van with air conditioning, accompanied by a certified guide and a professional driver who will meet you at your hotel each day. The itinerary is flexible, and we can remove or add activities—for example, include a visit to the University of Coimbra, or if you are heading to Lisbon, provide transportation to the capital. We can also meet you in Coimbra and, while you enjoy the tour, arrange your transfer to Porto. Our main goal is to provide an excellent, private, and personalized experience!

Day 1: Porto Explore Porto’s historic center, including Ribeira, the Palácio da Bolsa, Clérigos Church, and Bolhão Market. Day 2: Braga & Guimarães Morning – Braga: Visit Braga Cathedral and the Bom Jesus do Monte sanctuary with its monumental baroque staircase. Afternoon – Guimarães: Discover the Paço dos Duques de Bragança, explore the UNESCO historic center, and learn about Portugal’s origins. Return to Porto. Day 3: Douro Valley Travel through the Douro Valley, visit a vineyard for wine tasting, and enjoy a boat tour on the Douro River. Return to Porto. Day 4: Coimbra & Aveiro Morning – Coimbra: Explore Coimbra’s historic center, from the University to the riverfront, stroll its cobbled streets, and visit the romantic Quinta das Lágrimas. Afternoon – Aveiro: Walk along the canals, see the colorful moliceiro boats, taste the famous ovos moles, and admire the Art Nouveau architecture. Return to Porto.
