Douro Valley Wine & Dine - Full day Private Tour (from Porto)

There is no shortage of reasons to visit the Douro Valley, one of the most stunning landscapes in all of Portugal producing the famous port wine and more recently excellent table wines. On this tour we will drive to the breathtaking Douro Valley by private van, first stopping in Amarante where we will see the beautiful Roman Bridge and St. Goncalo Cathedral. After having a coffee and traditional pastry of this region, we will continue through Regua to Pinhao to witness the traditional train station adorned with tiles depicting the lifestyle of the locale. Next we will be welcomed at an award winning winery for a tour of the estate, an explanation of the production, harvest and transportation of port wine followed by a special lunch prepared by the Chef paired with the estate's wine.
