Overview of your Porto tour
Depart from your hotel en route to the breathtaking Douro Valley. Our first stop will be at the splendid Mateus Palace which is depicted on the labels of the famous Mateus rosé wine. Tour the ornate manor house and its beautiful gardens. Continue to an award winning winery, set amongst the terraces of the valley, where you will indulge in a traditional gourmet lunch consisting of specialties of the estate paired with their award winning wines followed by a tour of the cellar and port wine tasting, learn about the process and the wine making. After lunch we will embark on a traditional rablelo river boat which was used to transport the port wine. Experience the historical Douro River and more spectacular scenery on this one hour boat trip. Relax while returning from the majestic Douro Valley to Porto and enjoy the amazing views.

Pick up at the port, hotel or other location as requested by guest (in Porto or the Douro Valley) Drive to Mateus Palace for a tour of the palace and gardens. Continue to the wine estate for lunch, guided tour and wine tasting. Embark on a one hour river cruise. Return to Porto. The tour can be customised according to your preferences, please inquire
