(Theory, Blind tasting Practical Service ) from the UNITED STATES SOMMELIER Association at Wine School at Johnson &Wales University AND accredited by the Court Of MASTER SOMMELIER and Gastronomy. After successfully completing two-years at the professional Hotel Beverage School, I Graduated in 1988. I started my career in the Hospitality Industry on the MADEIRA Island, then I moved to MIAMI to work on cruise ships as Sommelier. I went ahead with my career and became HEAD SOMMELIER , responsible for the development of wine lists and delivery of Wine service. Meanwhile, I GRADUATED from the WINE SCHOOL at Johnson & Wales University in Miami and AWARDED FROM the INTERNACIONAL Sommelier CERTIFICATE Foundation Level, by the United States SOMMELIER Association. I kept working on cruise ships until I decided to move to LONDON to 3 Michelin Restaurant for a while and then to go back to Portugal. Paulo what an amazing tour guide. This tour was outside of Porto to a place we never been before per. It certainly lived up to the expectations that we had as to being the Venice of Portugal. Was a very ass place to go certainly outside of Porto into an area of Portugal that we’ve never been before. Paulo spoke perfect English and had a command of the entire trip. He is most friendly, and we had a wonderful, educational, and enthusiastic time. I would highly recommend this tour and especially this tour guide.

Had a terrific day with Paulo, visiting Aveiro and Costa Nova. Paulo speaks English very fluently, is a good driver, and is intelligent, professional, kind, and funny. He has vast knowledge of his homeland, and not only taught me about the places we saw, but gave me hints on other ways to spend time while here in Portugal. Do yourself a favor and book a tour with Paulo. You will enjoy your day and will learn things too. I recommend him without hesitation. Time well spent.

Salt mines very interesting as are the fishermen's houses Aveira very pretty town but construction is off putting and in center of city which makes it unpleasant and very crowded Paolo was lovely in making it work Thank you for your good humor and smile

Great tour of Oporto. We went to Peninsula of Costa Nova, Aveiro and Porto. Had a very informative tour and a wonderful personality to go with it. Highly recommend this guy!!
