Hello, My Name is Rui Pedro and I'm a private guide, based at this beautiful city of Porto. I have been a private tour guide for 8 years now. Always been a passionate about history and despite having worked as a Business Manager for more than 15 years, the performance of this function allowed me to travel to several countries in Europe and South America, even living some time in Brazil and London. Overview of your Porto tour
Coimbra, the "City of Students" and it's University, one of the oldest universities in the world, famous for its baroque library, and it's 18th century bell tower. The beautiful city of Aveiro known as the 'Portuguese Venice' due to the canals that cross the entire city. A boat trip on the traditional 'moliceiro' boat and, on a pleasant walk through the historic center to taste the traditional sweets made from the egg yolk 'Soft Eggs'. In a strip of land between the Vouga River and the Atlantic, we will find Costa Nova colored part of the Portuguese coast. This beach is characterized by wooden houses streaked with white and bright colors, formerly old haystacks that served as a warehouse and shelter for fishermen. Let's enjoy a beautiful day discovering this two unique cities!!!

We'll start by meeting at your hotel/rental in Porto city area. - Drive to Coimbra, around 1hour and 15 minutes. - City of Coimbra: University Complex - one of the oldest universities in the world and its famous baroque Library Break Lunch, 2 suggested options: Mealhada for the traditional suckling baby pig, or Aveiro for the best Codfish - City of Aveiro: Costa nova - Visit to the traditional fishing village Historic center: Walk trough the biggest concentration of 'Art Noveaux' buildings in Europe. Boat trip on the canals of the 'Portuguese Venice' (optional) ***Of course you cannot leave Aveiro before a coffee and the traditional 'Soft eggs' pastry. Drop of at your hotel/rental in Porto
