The river Paiva is one of the cleanest rivers in the world with a very clean flow, with pure water and is considered by nature lovers, the most beautiful river in Portugal. With so many titles and praise, you could not miss the chance to visit the Paiva valley and no the FAMOUS "516" longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the world A wood course of about 8 km, almost all in structures suspended in the valley always following the rocky and steep slopes along the left bank of the river Paiva. Areinho beach invites us for a swim if you want to enjoy a relaxing bath in the river.
Your Porto tour itinerary
*Departing time 8h30/9h30am from Porto(!) to Arouca montain and 516 Arouca bridge. *Arrival at the beginning of the "Passadiços do Paiva", I will leave you here at the beginning and I will wait for you at the end of the route that is about 8Km from here or if you. But, if you prefer to do just the 516 Arouca bridge, I'll be waiting at the end, you decide the plan for the day. *Free Hiking of about 2h30 through the only course that is well informed. *I'll be at the end of the course waiting for you with a Picnic Lunch prepared by me or I can take you to a typical restaurant to eat perhaps the famous Veal Arouquesa (not included) *Return to Porto
