Hello! My name is Jola. I live in Warsaw and I am fascinated with this place. That's why, some 20 years ago, I decided to study Warsaw history, architecture, culture, etc. to become a fully-qualified city guide. Some time ago, after years spent in international corporations, I gave it up and became a full-time tour guide. I've also engaged, as a volunteer, in documenting architectural details of old tenement houses in Warsaw and regular cleaning works on the historical Jewish cemetery. I love traveling, meeting new people, discovering different cultures and traditions. I am easy going and energetic person, passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience with other people. I always try to make my guests feel like they're spending time with a friend. I'm eager to share with you my passion for Warsaw. I'd like to tell you the story of the rich, elegant city which almost disappeared from the Earth during WW2, but then was reborn like the Phoenix , the city formed by the communists in accordance with their ideology, the city that changed completely its face after 1989. I'd like to follow with you the traces of Frederic Chopin, Maria Curie, Icchak Singer, admire beautiful royal residences: Wilanow and Lazienki, and visit the places perfect for taking a deep breath and relax. You may find inspiration for a tour in one of my descriptions. If you have your own suggestions, contact me directly - we together will work out the best plan based on your interests and expectations. I will be happy to host you in Warsaw as your personal tour guide. Come over and be my guest! * Warsaw tour guide - governmental license, 2003 * Tour leader - governmental license, 2005 * POLIN Museum of the History of the Polish Jews - licensed guide * Frideric Chopin museum - licensed guide * Certificates of English language knowledge Important: I'm fully VACCINATED against COVID-19. My car (Opel Zafira) can fit up to 6 people. Please inquire for larger groups.

It won't be a comfortable day. It's a tough experience. It's very emotional. You are going to visit the place created by the Nazi criminals where thousands of innocent people were murdered. It took me some time to start these tours but, after all, it's better to know the history. The tour starts in Warsaw, at Umschlagplatz - the area where the ghetto inhabitants were gathered before being transported to the Treblinka death camp. You will see the site with the monument as well as the archival photos from 1942. Then we will drive to the place where all these people were transported. The Treblinka death camp operated between July 1942 and October 1943. After the prisoners' revolt, the camp was liquidated by the Nazis who tried to remove any evidence of it. Today there is the Museum of Struggle and Martyrdom with the unusual memorial monument. You will see the short documentary films there and I will guide you around the camp area sharing with you historical information and personal stories of a few survivors.
- Meeting in your hotel or at the agreed place - Umschlagplatz site (the monument and the surrounding area) - 30 min - Driving to Treblinka (1. 5 - 2 h, depending on the traffic) - Coffee break - 15 min - The Museum exhibition (the camp area model and recorded testimony of a few escapees) - 30 min - Visiting the Holocaust area (as the death camp was liquidated by the Nazis, today the area is marked by the contemporary constructions symbolizing the camp infrastructure as well as the memorial monument surrounded by the stones with the engraved names of the cities, towns, and villages, from which the victims had been taken) - 1. 5 h - Driving back (1. 5 - 2 h, depending on the traffic). The tour ends in Warsaw, at any place convenient to you.
