My name is Tomek and I have been a tour guide as well as cultural and Polish language coach for about ten years now. Born and bred in Warsaw, I have a deep passion for Polish culture, history and heritage, and I also know my home city inside out. Yes, definitely every district and almost every street. I specialize in "reality tours" showing mainly places off the beaten track and indulging travellers in real Warsaw ambience. I work with single travelers, couples, families, the elderly and the disabled. I can accommodate Warsaw visitors on any budget, and I am able to do day, evening or night tours on any day of the week. Leisure or business, rain or shine! You can be driven in my car or in a hired van, we can have a bicycle or scooter ride, take public transport or walk. I also possess international traveling experience having visited more than 50 countries on most continents, and I do know what travelers look for and what types of places they like sightseeing. School- visits, meeting locals, visiting local bars and markets, cooking tours and courses are just a few I can include on your tour list. Alternatively, please let me know of any special requests you have. Then I will be able to customize the trip according to your interests. Hope to see you in Poland! Tomek I have a university degree in English Literature obtained in 2003, QTS for England and Wales no. 1742174, First Aid Licence and I have also completed a course for Organisers and Leaders of School Trips. I am not able to guide you inside of some historical monuments.

This is a full day 8-hour walking tour. During the walk, I will be telling you about the most important Jewish places in Warsaw. The Ghetto area, the Synagogue, and the Jewish Cemetery are just a few places on the tour list. At some point, we will also sit down for a slow food lunch in a Jewish menu restaurant. During this tour, you will be able to experience the most significant landmarks in Warsaw associated with Jewish culture and heritage, both in the past and nowadays. You will also be able to see the Old and New Town areas and Lazienki Park and Palace. This tour is perfect for everyone, but may be a real gem for those with Jewish origin. I have already managed to find the tombs of my travellers' ancestors at the Jewish Cemetery in Warsaw - a beautiful memorial place located right where the Warsaw Jewish quarter was located before WWII. This was always very touching and emotional.
Warsaw Main Jewish quarter: In this area we will spend something between an hour to 1. 5 hrs: - Grzybowski Square - Próżna Street - The Synagogue - Warsaw Ghetto area - Kosher store Then we will drive (2 min) or walk (10 mins) to the Polin Jewish History and Heritage Museum (5 min drive): We will spend around 1. 5 - 2 hrs there. - Umschlagplatz Monument - The Monument of the Heroes of Warsaw Ghetto - The Polin Museum of the History of Polish Jews (we are not going to go inside) After that we will drive (5 mins) to the Warsaw Jewish Cemetery and spend around 1 hour there. You will be able to see: - Jewish Cemetery - Jewish Ghetto Wall After around 4-5 hrs of touring we will drive to "Pod Samsonem" Jewish Restaurant in the Old Town. We will spend around 1. 5 hrs there. After lunch we will stay and explore the Old and New Town areas as well as we will drive (15 mins) to Lazienki Park.
