My job is my hobby and my hobby is my job. Born, grew up in Warsaw, graduated in history of art from the Warsaw University made my decision after years of traveling that there is no better place to stay than Warsaw. Warsaw is unique, modern and amazing. Come to get to know Warsaw, and me, your licensed tour guide would take you on one of the below tours, or could create one that suits your needs. The city has many faces and can surprise all those, who have the eyes wide opened. Here one will find the traces of rich cultural pattern, that nowadays has its different color. Warsaw, the city of 400 years of history as the capital, the city of Chopin, Wladyslaw Szpilman, Madame Curie, Estera Rachel Kaminska, Icchak Bashevis Singer, now becomes multicultural metropolis. If you would like to find hidden colors of Warsaw's Jewish past, book this private tour! You will learn about the history of the Jewish People in the Mazovia Region and Warsaw from XIV century throughout WWII and the present day. You would find the surprising and rich history of Jews in the past and vibrant come back of Jews in Warsaw. You would also see how the former Northern Quarter of Warsaw changed into modern Muranow with the great museum of the history of Polish Jews Polin, which is a must-see. The visit to the exhibition is not a part of the tour, but the tour could be modified in order to include a visit in Polin museum as well.
Marta is knowledgeable and thorough. The itinerary covered major sites of interest and she provided lots of background information as well as site-specific details throughout. It is very clear that she knows the material well, is a great communicator and genuinely enjoys sharing her knowledge with others. We have had many tour guides over the years and Marta stood out as one of the best of them.
Marta was absolutely fantastic! She was incredibly knowledgeable and went over and above in every way. She customized the tour to our needs, expertly communicated historical information in a very interesting and engaging way, and even helped us figure out the train to our next adventure! Very valuable tour, highly recommend!
Marta was an excellent guide: personable, safe, prompt, professional, knowledgeable and expressed her depth of knowledge in an interesting way; we learned so much would highly recommend her!
A very knowledgeable and friendly guide. We really delved into Polish history and learned so much. An enjoyable two days.
Marta is very knowledgeable, communicates well, and is very amicable: I learned a lot from my Warsaw Jewish Heritage Tour with Marta. The history of Warsaw is intimately tied to its Jewish history, and Marta did an excellent job integrating those narratives and perspectives into our tour of Warsaw's landmarks (Jewish and secular). I highly recommend her for making your time in Warsaw that much more memorable.
