Welcome to Warsaw, Best European Travel Destination of 2023! I am Sebastian and I am very pleased to welcome you in my city where I was born and raised. Having travelled the world, lived and worked for 12 years in Paris and Amsterdam, I came back here only to re-discover Warsaw with its unique beauty and character on its own. I became a professional Guide because there is no other place like here with such turbulent history and such dynamic present. It would be my utmost pleasure to show it to you. My favourite parts of the city are its off-the-beaten-track right-bank part called Praga, the Royal Route including the Old Town, communist era monuments as well as numerous parks and palaces. All of these offer a myriad of authentic details of the small architecture, the witnesses of history. I adore the many places where modern buildings are created with respect to the old. In my tours I would like to help you understand the city, feel like a local, not only get you astonished at times but also make you laugh and have fun. I can design a tour following your preferences depending on your interests and the time you have. As my professional career has focused on two fun categories - beer and chocolate - you can expect some guidance also here if needed . I deliver tours in English, French, German, Spanish, Polish and Russian, and also cooperate with official guiding service of The Royal Łazienki Park. So, hop on and discover Warsaw with me! Guide Service Official Tour Guide of Warsaw (license number 865/P-XXXIV/2022) Accredited at official Guide Service of The Royal Lazienki Park Academic Teacher (Kozminski Academy) Driving License and own car (VW Passat 2018) Best available on weekends, Polish bank holidays and during the week after 4 PM (earlier on Fridays). Availability during other time slots can be discussed.

Before WW2 almost every third inhabitant of Warsaw was a Jew or of a Jewish origin. Yiddish was the second most spoken language. More than 100 titles of Jewish press and magazines were published and about 500 synagogues and prayer houses hosted traditional prayers. WW2 brough cataclism to Warsaw and its thriving Jewish community but luckily not everything was lost. As a guide specialised in pre-war and WW2 history of Warsaw, holder of Jewish Historical Institute Certificate, participant of Judaism Course organised by Warsaw Jewish Community representatives and Warsaw-born person, this topic is one of those particularily dear to me. I can deliver this tour in English, German, French, Spanish, Russian and Polish.
This walking tour will give you a flavour of pre-war Jewish Warsaw, take you through the former Warsaw Ghetto tragedy but you will also learn about the present Jewish community revival. We will visit what remains of a pre-war Northern District, we will look for remnants from the past in the Small and Big Ghetto - Grzybowski Square, Nozyk Synagugue, Wooden Bridge, old Ghetto Wall, Monument to the Heroes of Warsaw Ghetto, surroundings of Polin Museum, Mila Bunker. We will finish at the Monument of Umschlagplatz that was the final stop in Warsaw for 260 thousands of its inhabitants. The tour can be extended with the visit of the Ringelblum Archive (on UNESCO "Memory of the World" List) at Jewish Historical Institute where I am a certified guide and Jewish Cemetery at Okopowa Street, one of the largest in the world.
