Welcome to Warsaw, Best European Travel Destination of 2023! I am Sebastian and I am very pleased to welcome you in my city where I was born and raised. Having travelled the world, lived and worked for 12 years in Paris and Amsterdam, I came back here only to re-discover Warsaw with its unique beauty and character on its own. I became a professional Guide because there is no other place like here with such turbulent history and such dynamic present. It would be my utmost pleasure to show it to you. My favourite parts of the city are its off-the-beaten-track right-bank part called Praga, the Royal Route including the Old Town, communist era monuments as well as numerous parks and palaces. All of these offer a myriad of authentic details of the small architecture, the witnesses of history. I adore the many places where modern buildings are created with respect to the old. In my tours I would like to help you understand the city, feel like a local, not only get you astonished at times but also make you laugh and have fun. I can design a tour following your preferences depending on your interests and the time you have. As my professional career has focused on two fun categories - beer and chocolate - you can expect some guidance also here if needed . I deliver tours in English, French, German, Spanish, Polish and Russian, and also cooperate with official guiding service of The Royal Łazienki Park. So, hop on and discover Warsaw with me! Guide Service Official Tour Guide of Warsaw (license number 865/P-XXXIV/2022) Accredited at official Guide Service of The Royal Lazienki Park Academic Teacher (Kozminski Academy) Driving License and own car (VW Passat 2018) Best available on weekends, Polish bank holidays and during the week after 4 PM (earlier on Fridays). On this tour, we'll visit 4 areas bustling with life that were originally created in the 18th and 19th century as industrial sites important for Warsaw: a brewery, a destillery, a power plant and a tableware factory. They all have an amazing history and recently gained their second life after they were turned into very modern, award-winning hotspots of the city. In addition to visiting all 4 premises, discovering their amazing architecture and what they have to offer (old preserved industrial installations, modern cinemas, food courts, relaxation zones, exposition spaces and others) we'll climb the roof of Warsaw University New Library for amazing views of the city panorama and Vistula river. As I worked for about 20 years in the brewing industry, I am personally connected with one of these sites ("Browary Warszawskie") which I remember from the times before this breathtaking transformation, so I can tell you anecdotes and my personal stories connected with this place. So hop on for this great experience!
1) We'll meet at Browary Warszawskie (Warsaw Breweries), the square at the Nine's restaurant (Old Brewhouse) or at another arranged spot. 2) We'll then stroll in Browary before walking to Fabryka Norblina (Norblin old Tableware factory) crossing a very modern European Square. 3) Then we'll visit Fabryka Norblina, with its industrial past and modern side (bars, food court, restaurant alley). 4) Next we'll go by a very modern metro line M2 to Elektrownia Powisle (Powisle Power Plant), discover its surroundings - Warsaw University New Library, see its interiors and climb its rooftop garden for views. 5) Then, on the same metro line, we could go to the other bank of the Vistula river to see Koneser, a former 19th century distillery, apart from restaurants and art galleries, or to the Museum of Polish Vodka. 6) In the end, you can decide to continue your visit on your own at any of the places (all of which offer good meals) or we can finish at an agreed spot.
