I am a Krakow local guide with a deep personal connection to the city and nearly 18 years of experience guiding visitors from around the world. When you book a tour with me, it feels less like a standard guided tour and more like discovering Krakow with a local friend- someone who was born here and genuinely loves sharing the true spirit of the city. I enjoy taking guests beyond the obvious routes, sharing lesser-known corners & local spots you would not usually discover on your own. My goal is simple: I want you to feel the city, not just see it. I guide with energy, curiosity, and professionalism. I guided alumni guests from major US Universities, VIP guests art and history enthusiasts as well as young travelers who want to witness places that focus on WWII history. My academic background is in applied linguistics, art, and Jewish studies. I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow (graphics and photography) and studied at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. This allows me to naturally combine art, architecture, history, language, and everyday life into one coherent and engaging narrative. Jewish heritage and genealogy are a particularly important part of my work. I regularly guide guests interested in Jewish Krakow, family history, and genealogical research, always with great sensitivity and respect. I assist visitors who are tracing their roots, exploring former Jewish neighborhoods and archives, and trying to place their family stories within the wider historical context of Poland and Central Europe. I continue to study Hebrew (including Ulpan programs in Haifa and Tel Aviv), which is especially helpful in archival work and in supporting guests from the Jewish diaspora. My aim is to offer experiences that are informative, warm, and genuine- leaving you with a deeper understanding of Poland, and a real sense of connection to the place and its stories. If you are interested in culture and folk art and want to discover real, not touristy Poland, then Zalipie would be perfect for you! This is a famous (but not touristy) little village in southern part of Poland - located ca. 1, 5 hour drive from Krakow. This is a place which may be described as „artisty village". Almost everywhere you will see the local art culture - many houses are painted in typical Zalipie folklore style. Come with me and listen to stories of exceptional Polish folk painters, visit locals at their homes and enjoy real Poland! This is really something exceptional - and not discovered by most „tourists" who come to Poland. But this is why I am here, to help you out discover it! I love this excursion - I often travel there on my own since the ambiance of the place is very inspiring and very different from what you can explore in the city. As an artist - I love to take photos there, it is really a picturesque place. I would be more than happy to share your memories you built there!
Renata (and her driver, Filip) were gracious, informative, entertaining and generally delightful. Not only did they contextualise the culture surrounding Zalipie, but offered insights into Polish politics, history and interpersonal communications. Altogether, a wonderful and highly recommended experience.

I couldn't have been more pleased with the experience that Renata provided on our all day visit to Zalipie from Krakow. The village is a hidden jewel and not to be missed. The ladies of the town paint intricate and beautiful decoration of their houses and landmarks in this enchanting place. Renata's love and passion for sharing Polish culture and life in Krakow filled our day with memories that I'll never forget. She has an engaging personality and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with her.
A delightful insight to rural life in a Polish village. This one has something special to offer and it's full of colour and creativity. We enjoyed roaming through the church and the community centre, looking at numerous houses and meeting some artists. We appreciated the rare bonus chance to taste some home-cooked Polish food. Renata was efficient, well-organised, well-informed and gave excellent value for money. She is also a very pleasant and friendly lady.
Renata deserves more than 5 stars for the two tours we took with her this December. She was so knowledgable, personable and professional. We were in Krakow for 10 days and took many tours, and of all we took with yours and another company, Renata was beyond exceptional, truly a fabulous guide.
