Wieliczka Salt Mine and Krakow Old Town Full Day Tour

This full day trip gives you an unique opportunity to visit two beautiful sites of Krakow in one day. The Wieliczka Salt Mine is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Poland, located just outside the city of Krakow. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site and has been in operation for over 700 years. Krakow's Old Town is a historic heart of the former Polish capital city, full of magnificent churches and splendid monuments. Please note, that this tour includes private transportation and a shared tour in the Salt Mine with the local English speaking guide arranged by the Mine. The second part of the tour, which is a private walking tour of the Krakow Old Town takes place with me as a licensed city guide.

Here's what you can expect from this experience: Firstly, you will be picked up from your accommodation in Krakow by a private vehicle, which will take you directly to the Wieliczka Salt Mine (approx. 30min). Once you arrive, the local tour guide will take you on a 2-2, 5 hour journey through the underground chambers and tunnels of the mine, explaining the history and significance of the site as you go. You will be admiring the stunning salt sculptures that have been created by generations of miners. You will learn what life was like for the miners who worked in the mine for centuries. After your tour of the Salt Mine, we will get back to Krakow (30 min). We'll park in the city centre and then I, as a licensed city guide, will show you most significant sites of the Old Town (2h). The entire experience will take about 6-7 hours.
