I am a Krakow local guide with a deep personal connection to the city and nearly 18 years of experience guiding visitors from around the world. When you book a tour with me, it feels less like a standard guided tour and more like discovering Krakow with a local friend- someone who was born here and genuinely loves sharing the true spirit of the city. I enjoy taking guests beyond the obvious routes, sharing lesser-known corners & local spots you would not usually discover on your own. My goal is simple: I want you to feel the city, not just see it. I guide with energy, curiosity, and professionalism. I guided alumni guests from major US Universities, VIP guests art and history enthusiasts as well as young travelers who want to witness places that focus on WWII history. My academic background is in applied linguistics, art, and Jewish studies. I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow (graphics and photography) and studied at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. This allows me to naturally combine art, architecture, history, language, and everyday life into one coherent and engaging narrative. Jewish heritage and genealogy are a particularly important part of my work. I regularly guide guests interested in Jewish Krakow, family history, and genealogical research, always with great sensitivity and respect. I assist visitors who are tracing their roots, exploring former Jewish neighborhoods and archives, and trying to place their family stories within the wider historical context of Poland and Central Europe. I continue to study Hebrew (including Ulpan programs in Haifa and Tel Aviv), which is especially helpful in archival work and in supporting guests from the Jewish diaspora. My aim is to offer experiences that are informative, warm, and genuine- leaving you with a deeper understanding of Poland, and a real sense of connection to the place and its stories. Tour Guide / Tour Leader License Driving licence Graduated from Applied Linguistics Department Graduated from Academy of Fine Arts (Krakow – graphics and photography) Ongoing Jewish Studies (Ulpan in Haifa and TLV) I am not a guide at Wieliczka Salt Mines I am not a guide at Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum

Overview of your Krakow tour

Krakow walking tour - 3 hours Explore with me the city of Krakow! The former capital - Krakow is one of the most culturally important cities in Poland. People form Poland know it as the Royal City since you can find here the original buildings known as the symbols of our culture, history and religion like the Wawel Castle, the Royal Cathedral and the oldest university in this part of Europe- Jagiellonian University. I love art - my father is an artist and thanks to him I have particular interest in art and Polish art craft. I am also an artist - I graduated from Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow - so this tour is very special to me and I would like you to experience real Polish Art from a passionate art guide. I will show you local spots and be more than happy to take photos of you while we are on tour. Explore the city and get to know it like a local! I am looking forward to being your personal, local guide in your venture in Krakow.

Guide was very flexible and made the tour informative and enjoyable. We added a few extra local stops suggested by the guide that made it even better.

Renata is very personable, responsive and highly organized. She went above and beyond the call of duty to suggest and schedule a satisfactory alternative when we found tickets were unobtainable for the Auschwitz-Birkenau tour we had initially planned. We would be pleased to recommend her to anyone.

Renata was fantastic, she had a great deal of knowledge about the history of Poland and Krakow, and her obvious passion for the city made the tour very engaging. She was extremely helpful in organizing our tickets to Schindler's factory, and then driving us there to ensure we would get in ok. She did not have to do this and we are very grateful that she went to the effort! Would highly recommend!
