Our recent several hour walking tour of Krakow's Old Town ("Krakow in a pill") was top shelf. Our guide, Alicja, was charming and entertaining . . . a pleasure to spend time with. She taught us loads about the local history and culture, with plenty of amusing stories and jokes thrown in along the way to keep things spicy. Perhaps our favorite part of the tour was meandering through the colorful old farmers' market (Stary Kleparz), with several tastings of local delicacies that we would never have discovered on our own.
