Hello there, fellow adventurers! I'm Lucas, and I'm absolutely stoked to have you join me in Krakow, a city that's truly a gem in the crown of Europe. Being a Krakow native myself, born and raised right here, I've got a deep love for this place, and I'm excited to share its wonders with you. Oh, and fun fact about me: I'm a bit of a history buff, which is why I ended up diving headfirst into guiding—it's not just a job for me, it's a passion. I have a PhD in history and love showcasing the beauty of Krakow and this part of Europe. Over the years, I've had the pleasure of guiding many travelers, sharing insights into our monuments and history. From multicultural Polish society to historical landmarks, I offer a blend of tourist spots and local gems during our tours. Let me tell you, guiding is like sharing a piece of my heart with each traveler I meet. From showing off our breathtaking monuments to unraveling the layers of our fascinating history, every tour is like unwrapping a gift together. And trust me, with my historical know-how, I've got the scoop on everything from the old legends to the juicy secrets of Krakow. What makes our time together truly special, though, is our connection. I'm not just here to spout off facts—I want to hear your thoughts, your stories, your take on everything we see. After all, it's your journey, and I'm here to make it as epic as possible. But here's the real kicker: it's not just about the sights. Sure, we'll hit up all the must-see spots, but what really gets me going is showing you the soul of Krakow. We'll wander through streets lined with stories, peek into hidden corners, and maybe even stumble upon a cozy café or two. And hey, if you're up for it, we can even venture beyond Krakow's borders and explore the wonders of this part of Europe. With pleasure I'll take you to stunning castles, cities, and natural wonders in Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia. In distance maximum few hours from Krakow we can see amazing places which you will never forget. So, what do you say? Ready to dive into the adventure of a lifetime? Let's make some unforgettable memories together that'll have you smiling for years to come. Let's embark on this adventure together! I look forward to our journey together and ensure you have a memorable experience. Additionally, I'm happy to prepare customized Tours for you to suit your preferences. Phd in History, 2016 Master in History, 2009 Diploma in Archival Studies, 2008 I only provide walking tours and I'm not certified to guide within museums. I’m not driver but can provide secure transportation and professional drivers for the tours.

Jews have been living in Krakow for a thousand years. Krakow was a very important place for Jews and was undoubtedly one of the most important cultural center of Ashkenazi Jews in Europe. Krakow witnessed the golden age of Polish Jews, but also the tragedy of Holocaust. Krakow is place where you can learn and understand in just a few hours many centuries of Jewish history. Krakow is home to a Jewish community that is constantly in use, and the monuments illustrate the successive centuries of Jewish existence. In Krakow, we can visit magnificent synagogues but also places related to the Holocaust. In Kazimierz, in the former Jewish district, you can see evidence of the power of Krakow's Jewish community. In Podgórze, on the site of the former Jewish ghetto, you can better understand the difficult lives of Jews during World War II. In Płaszów, on the site of a former Nazi concentration camp, you can better understand the tragedy of the Holocaust. I can customize this tour according to your requests.
