Hello travelers! I'm Diana, your Local Oslo Guide, and I would be happy to show you my city. I have been working as a tour guide in Norway and Oslo for over 16 years. I hold a professional degree in tourism and a master's degree in international business. I am a also an Authorized Oslo Guide, and a Certified guide in The National Museum, offering tours in English and Spanish. I am also a pioneer guide in Virtual Tours in Oslo since 2020. Most of the time I have been guiding different tour activities in Oslo. I have spent a good chunk of my life traveling extensively. Apart from my innate passion for travel and tourism, I also highlights my time in certain countries, where I have stayed put for longer periods of time, including Australia, various South American countries, and of course Norway. I get a thrill from showing guests around Norway and I really enjoy getting to know people through their culture, traditions, art, and food. Oslo has changed a lot in recent years and is now one of Europe’s fastest-growing capitals. New places like the Munch Museum and the National Museum show how the city keeps evolving, together with people moving here from all over Norway and abroad. What I love most about Oslo is the balance between city life and nature. You’re in a modern capital, but forests, lakes, rivers, and the fjord are always close by. Let me know your interests and I can customized any tour in Oslo or in the surrounding areas of the city. I will help you discover places off the beaten track. I will also show you some hidden corners in Oslo and fun stories about the city and the locals. Last but not least, I love to take photos of nature, architecture, different seasons and sunsets. All the photos from my published tours are taken by me. I have my own Instagram gallery for showcasing Oslo and Norway for all my followers and clients. I will be happy to take you photos in my favorite spots in the city. Welcome to Oslo! Master of International Business, The University of Sydney - Australia. Bachelors in Administration and Tourism, SEK University - Chile. Authorized Oslo Guide - English, Spanish and Norwegian. Spanish Teacher at a high school level and at The University of Oslo. Certified for guiding in The National Museum in Oslo. Pioneer in Virtual Tours in Oslo with Amazon Explorer. Professional Photographer Certification. I'm an Authorized Oslo Guide and can guide in all museums in Oslo. My tours are either by public transportation, walking, or we can hire a car with driver. It is also possible to use a taxi and that must be paid on the spot. I can arrange longer tours outside Oslo such as in Drøbak, Kistefoss park, Hadeland glassverk or Telemark.

Discover the history, places, and people behind the Nobel Peace Prize on a walking tour through central Oslo. We visit key institutions such as the Norwegian Nobel Institute, University Square, Oslo City Hall, and the Nobel Peace Center, exploring the stories, events, and buildings that shaped the Prize. Over the years, I’ve met several peace activists and laureates, including members of the 2024 winning organization Nihon Hidankyo and Hiroshima/Nagasaki survivors like Mr. Toshiyuki Mimaki. These encounters give me personal stories and insights I share in a respectful and engaging way. With the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize awarded to María Corina Machado, the tour highlights the newest laureate and the global issues her work represents. We begin at the Nobel Institute, learning about Oslo—the City of Peace—and the Nobel Committee’s work since 1897, before continuing to central landmarks connected to the Prize’s history. The tour weaves together history, personal stories, and Oslo’s cultural backdrop.
During this walk through the city centre, we explore key sites that have shaped the Nobel Peace Prize and : - The Nobel Peace Institute. - The University Square and other sights in connection to the Nobel Peace Prize. - The Oslo City Hall (outside and inside). There are few days that the City Hall is closed to the public. - Nobel Peace Center: Experience the Peace Prize exhibition "A Message to Humanity (2024)". Learn a bout Alfred Nobel and other Nobel Peace Prize laureates. I can give you a good introduction of the Nobel Peace Center so you can continue visiting this center on your own at the end of this tour. The Nobel Peace Center opening hours: During the summer is open Monday to Sunday from 11:00am to 18:00 The rest of the year: Tuesday -Sunday from 11:00am to 17:00pm Wednesdays - from 11:00am to 20:00pm
