There are many historically interesting ruins in this area giving it the name "The Pompeii of the north" Afterwards, we go to the city behind the medieval fortress to hear scary stories about ghosts, prisoners, and robbers located in the different buildings. . We see from outside Oslo's oldest prison dungeon placed under an old police station ( can not be enteres 2023 due to renovation) for so to continue to Oslo' s first bank building and hear about Norway's most "famous" bank robbery from 1835. We end up at the medieval fortress. Many buildings we pass are from the 16 and 17 hundreds. The fortress is the most northern fortress in active use in the world today and was established 1299. The fortress is like a fairytale even though it is Norway's most haunted place.
