Hello! I’m Nicolás, a multilingual guide from Argentina who has spent the last seven years exploring every corner of Japan and turning that passion into unforgettable travel experiences. Today, Japan is not just where I live — it’s truly my second home, and I love opening its doors to travellers from all over the world. What makes my tours different? I won’t just take you to places — I'll connect you with Japan in a way that feels personal, authentic and alive. With a background in Japanese language, culture and history, plus two years studying traditional Japanese calligraphy (shodō), I bring layers of insight that most guides never touch on. My years of work in the local tourism industry have allowed me to collect countless stories, perspectives and hidden spots that transform a simple day out into a genuine cultural discovery. I can guide in Spanish, English and Japanese, and my style is flexible, friendly and deeply conversational. I love sharing history and culture from multiple points of view — not just the textbook version — so you can understand Japan the way locals do. Having studied gastronomy and being a passionate home cook, I also know where to find incredible meals, from secret neighbourhood gems to must-try classics. Whether it’s iconic landmarks, back-alley treasures, unique neighbourhoods or immersive cultural moments, every tour with me is crafted to feel tailored, welcoming and truly one-of-a-kind. My goal is simple: to make you feel like you’re exploring Japan with a trusted friend who knows the country inside and out. If you want a guide who brings knowledge, warmth and years of lived experience — someone who'll listen to what you want and build a day you’ll remember forever — I’d be honoured to show you around Japan. Let’s make your trip unforgettable!

Join me exploring of one of Japan’s most important archaeological sites through clear, beginner-friendly storytelling & immersive stops. The Sakai’s Mozu Kofun tombs are massive keyhole-shaped burial mounds that form one of the world’s largest ancient tomb clusters, built for Japan’s elite and early emperors over 1,600 years ago. The Daisenryo Kofun, traditionally attributed to Emperor Nintoku, is actually among the largest tombs on Earth, featured in a BBC documentary for its extraordinary scale & archaeological significance. As your guide, I'll contextualize you on the tomb's origins, cultural meaning & the construction techniques used to build them. I'll also take you to Sakai City Hall, from where you'll get to see their unique keyhole layout from above! But we'll go beyond the tombs, enjoying peaceful strolls through the historic Daisencho area and across the Japanese Garden. To top it all off, we'll even take part in a simple traditional tea ceremony, connecting ancient history with local culture.
-Once we have gathered at your lodging, we'll walk to the closest train station to head to the Sakau City Hall Observatory. -On arrival, we'll enjoy a panoramic view of the Mozu Kofun Cluster to take a better look at the keyhole-shaped tombs from above. -Afterwards, we'll walk along the peaceful streets surrounding Daisen Park to get a sense of the tombs’ scale and layout. -Next, we'll reach the Mozu Tombs Visitor Center where I'll make sure you learn core information through clear displays, models and beginner-friendly explanations. -Later, we'll enjoy a quiet walk through Daisen Japanese Garden, enjoying some of Sakai’s most beautiful scenery. -Finally, we'll step inside a team room for traditional welcoming tea ceremony in order to introduce Japanese tea culture. -At last, I'll accompany you back to your accommodation to say our goodbyes.
