I guide mainly for private or small groups (6 travelers) for Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Koyasan, Himeji, Hiroshima(including Miyajima), Naoshima and Teshima islands, Adachi Museum of Art. You can see not only the famous sightseeing spots but not often shown in the guide book. I'm personally interested in the art, modern art and architecture. Overview of your Osaka tour
The tour covers many attractions of Nara, the oldest capital of Japan 1300 years ago, including the famous Nara Park where Sika deer live. Come and see them in person in this enchanting and relaxing atmosphere. Tour price costs per group, not per person. "Estimated Local Cash Needed" costs per person, not per group except for taxi fare. I can meet you at your hotel lobby (except for Airbnb). Please prepare JPY in cash and to remove your shoes at entrance in Japanese buildings.

Our guide was great! She met us at the hotel in Osaka and we took a train to Nara for the day. She was able to cater the day's schedule to our needs. We traveled with our 5 year old and it was great. She shared a lot of history and details about Japan and their culture. Would highly recommend her for custom, private tour.

Hiroko guided us on 4 tours: East, West, & Central Kyoto & Nara. Hiroko is a GOOD guide. She arrived ready & on time. She willingly responded to customization requests. She had advanced English skills & was friendly. Moreover, we enjoyed that she constantly shared details on living in Japan. She often addressed us 1 on 1 instead of as a group whereas it would have been better to huddle us before providing facts about the sight. Additionally, stories, instead of just facts, would have enriched the tours.
