Off the beaten track - The Hills of Rome: A Scenic Half Day Private Tour with Private Transportation

Rome was built on seven hills. In this city drive, we visit some of the seven hills and the Janiculum, you get to know the history of the hills and visit some of the most beautiful monuments of it. We start on the Esquiline where we discover one of the most fascinating churches in Rome: Santa Maria Maggiore, then we move to the Celio Hill passing by the Colosseum, where we visit the Forma Urbis, the marble map of ancient Rome. From there we drive to the Aventine Hill where we stop by the Terme of Caracalla, the second biggest Roman Spa built by the emperor Caracalla. Where you learn about ancient Roman body care. We also admire the beautiful Orange trees garden. Then we move to the Campidoglio, passing by the Circus Maximus and the Palatine Hill. From the Campidoglio, you can admire the Roman Forum, the ancient Roman city center, and the impressive square a project by Michelangelo. Then we reach our final destination the Janiculum with its amazing view over the whole city of Rome and the Vatican.
