Hello, my name is Fabio (or Fabius if you like!) and I'm a tourist guide in Rome. I was born and grown up in this wonderful city and I started this job in 2010 because I like culture and the possibility to stay in contact with people coming from every part of the world. I am a licensed tour guide but also an archaeologist: in fact I have a master in Archaeological Sciences and I continue to collaborate with the Archaeological Superintendence of Rome by publishing the new researches we are doing. I have a large experience with private and small group tours, including families with kids and schools. I like to explain every kind of monument or attraction, including museums, churches, parks and panoramas, but I am also a great fan of our typical food tradition and I can deepen this interesting aspect of italian lifestyle! I am a licensed guide in Rome with a degree and an Master in Archeological Sciences. I collaborate with the Archaeological Superintendence of Rome by publishing the new researches we are doing. I have no limitations of any kind and I can access any place of cultural interest and guide you in any of the languages I am proficient in. Even if my calendar shows no availability, feel free to get in touch. I can organize private transportation by private car and driver. Just to clarify, I only arrange hotel or port pick-up and drop-off through the driver. I will meet you at the meeting point. For easy communication on the day of the tour, I suggest downloading WhatsApp on your smartphone.

Our walk will evoke images of Senators, soldiers and orators, accompanying us to the Forum and to one of the most exceptional buildings in the Rome, the Colosseum. Here we will meet an exciting history with gladiators, slaves and ferocious animals, and also cruelty, and clemency. Our visit begins on the site that over the centuries has become the symbol of the city, the Colosseum, built by the Emperors of the Flavian dynasty. Moving on we will visit the area that witnessed the birth and development of the Roman civilization: the forum. Political, religious and economic heart of the Roman Republic, some of the most ancient places of worship can be found in the forum and visitors can still glimpse the remains of ancient temples. We'll visit the Palatine Hill, the ancient imperial palace, where the emperors lived with their court and ruled. I'm a licensed tour guide but also an archaeologist, who better than me can accompany you and tell you the history and stories of Ancient Rome? Don't miss this opportunity!
Highlights: •Colosseum: first and second rings •Arch of Constantine •Palatine Hill (Emperors' Palace) •Roman Forum: Arch of Titus Temple of Julius Caesar Temple of Saturn Temple of Vesta Basilica of Maxentius Temple of Romulus Temple of Antoninus and Faustina Arch of Settimius Severus Roman Senate (Curia Senatus) The itinerary can be customized according to your needs and requests. If there are children, I recommend booking my Colosseum tour with Arena. The Arena is located above the undergrounds and from there we can see clearly the Underground Floor, the tour is really amazing from this entrance.
