Wine, Beer and Food lover. I was born in the middle of the Tiber in the year of grace 1980. I dreamed of being a football player and then a politician, but the genetics of my farmer grandparents, an experience as a vegetable gardener and the casual participation in an introductory wine course unexpectedly changed my path. So, after obtaining a degree in Political Science, my life took a decisive food and wine turn. The study, the targeted excursions to artisans and farmers and the numerous experiences in the world of restaurants and pubs have allowed me to teach in the courses organized by Slow Food, developing the beauty of the topic and the enthusiasm for its continuous revelation and making me decide that one would be my working world. Today, according to the chronicles, I am a sommelier, lecturer for all educational activities relating to craft beer, cheese taster, researcher and selector of small agricultural and artisanal realities. Whose knowledge I like to share with anyone who has the same curiosity as me: whether large or small groups, families, couples or singles, long or short itineraries, whether on foot, by bicycle or by boat, every need and desire can be organised. What matters to me and motivates me is to convey this vehement attraction for the extraordinary world of "conscious eating" and that the cognitive and tasting experience are satisfying, that the memory of the place, of the people who live there, of their foods will be fixed. Because food and wine is an essential aspect of the cultures we want to know, an essential element of the contexts we enter when we travel, the only topic that is classified, simultaneously, as a form of necessity and pleasure. Rome is today a city in which to get lost gastronomically, with a very broad offering that can sometimes be confusing. Let's go and discover together the most particular and authentic neighborhoods and places, off the busiest and least original routes. Without forgetting that even outside the capital there is the possibility of creating unforgettable itineraries: to the south, from the Castelli Romani to Terracina, or to the north, from Bracciano lake, up to Viterbo and Tarquinia (a stone's throw from the port of Civitavecchia). I will be happy to experience all this together with you, with the same enthusiasm as the first time: because there is always something new to discover and because I consider it a virtuous way of loving my country, Italy, which makes me proud and lucky.
