I am an Expat from the United States, I have been blessed to live and guide through this beautiful country called Italy for the past 22 years. My first love and city mastered was the Eternal City of Rome, where I have lived and taught an English Master's program at UET. The University of European Tourism is located outside the Papal walls of Vatican City. I enjoyed teaching and being around the students very much, their youth is contagious. As I've traveled around the entire country, I've discovered the beauty in each region, as well as the wine and culinary wonders. My guiding experience is throughout Italy's Regions, as a National Driver Guide. My areas of expertise include the hillside medieval towns that are nestled in-between the Apennine Mountains. During my tours, I explain the history of Italy and make certain that you have the opportunity to experience all of the local monuments, as well as the iconic art and historical culture. My guiding is based on the TRUE ITALIAN EXPERIENCE. The Slow Food Movement, which they call the zero kilometer touring started in Italy because of how the food is prepared and my tours will take you to taste it all, fresh cheese, the award winning wines and truffle pasta. . . not to mention the limoncello in Sorrento after a day in Pompei. I have been blessed with a gift when it comes to guiding children and the disabled throughout this country. Nothing is a challenge for me and I enjoy seeing each of these places with people who thought they would never get there, life is meant to be lived! The adventure and excitement of this tour starts with a ride through the Roman streets, filled with colors and lit-up everywhere. You will view top sites such as the Colosseum, Capitoline Hill, Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona and the magnificent Basilica of St. Peter's just to name a few. This tour shows you how the arches of the Colosseum turn back the hands of time under the bright lights. The Pantheon is one of the most well preserved ancient temples in the world. You will see it all in a different prospective while strolling through special areas such as Piazza Navona, the most beautiful square in Rome. Here you will see three grand fountains, including Bernini's famous Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi (Fountain of the Four Rivers) and take in the atmosphere of the many outdoor cafes and bars lining the piazza. Then a perfect conclusion to the evening is The Trevi Fountain also known as, "Make-A-Wish Fountain" where your dream's come true after tossing your coin in the fountain.

This was a vesicular night time tour of Rome. Our guide Carin, brought with her two beautiful 8 person vans for our grouping of 10. We felt safe while driving and while exploring the various sights. Carin is a wealth of knowledge and co owner of the company. She speaks excellent English and 4 other languages. She understands flexibility and is the master navigator to get fantastic photos. We loved all we saw especially the Appian Way and all the historic buildings in Rome. She provided water, great information, an a very personalized adventure. Would like to use her again in the future!!

If you are looking for someone who has lots of energy, friendly and who has so muck knowledge of the area….Caron is for you! An email was lost and and your was was supposed to be for 6 people but Caron had only gotten the info for 4 of us. Last minute she had another one of her drivers drop off a van to accommodate all of us. She also made accommodations to go beyond our end time to be sure we saw everything. Having been to Rome 3 other times she took us off the beaten path to places we had never been. We stopped at a beautiful restaurant outside of the lighted coliseum for a late night snack and beverages that were delicious. Having met her only 1 night it stills seems like we’ve known each other for years. I hope you are lucky enough to be able to book a tour with Caron. Come well rested and enjoy the ride!!!
Caron is one of a kind. She makes sure you see things you have never been to. She is so knowledgeable and makes you feel special. Restaurants and wineries are her best. You will love her. She picked us up in Cortona and toured us around Rome. What a day. She's a good driver and we felt very safe. Love you Caron....
Hitting the high places in Rome that are under the lights. Catching the beautiful Roman sunset in the evening sky is something you will never forget. We will take a overview from the top of the Spanish steps area as well as Piazza Del Popolo. We will pass by the Greek Temples, the Tiber river area and Tiber island. We will see the Vatican and Colosseum areas under the golden glow of the moon light. These landmarks are beautiful to see and can't wait for you to take this tour with me under the moonlight!
