Hello, my name is Alessandra and I was born and grew up in Rome - a true local! I graduated in 1995 with a degree in Art History and have worked in art communication ever since. In developing didactic projects I've collaborated with Universities, Museums and Government Agencies. Most importantly, I spent several years at the MACRO (Museo Arte Contemporanea Roma) followed by even more years at the Trajan Markets (Imperial forums Museum). So, as you can see my interests in art range from the far past to the immediate present. For the past seven years I've worked as a private tour guide and I love it. I believe a walk through Rome is a walk through time, from the earliest settlement on the Palatine to the still busy artisan neighborhoods, from the Christian churches to the Jewish Ghetto. I specialize in tailor-made tours for first time or repeat visitors seeking more in depth knowledge of the city. We'll see the 2nd century Pantheon Dome, the largest, which was inspiration for all the greatest We'll visit the Colosseum the most visited monument in the world, built to celebrate the Empire, where the famous gladiator games took place. We won't miss the Trevi fountain the baroque masterpiece where you can toss in a coin to be sure to come back to Rome.
Your Rome tour itinerary
- A professional driver will pick you up and drop you off at the Civitavecchia Terminal (1.5 hours each way) - You will meet me in Rome and we will see: Vatican Museums Sistine Chapel St Peter Basilica and square Fast break lunch Pantheon (outside) Trevi Fountain Colosseum (inside) Arch of Constantine Imperial Forum street Panoramic tour by car: Piazza Venezia with the monument known as the Wedding Cake, Circus Maximus, Tiber Island, Gianicolo Hill with its breathtaking view over Rome The itinerary can be customized to your preferences. The itinerary could be on the reverse according to Colosseum/Vatican time slot tickets. -Please write me if there are people with mobility problems and if you use or need a wheelchair, the itinerary will be different. -Please bring a copy of your passport (paper copy or photo on your phone), the tickets are nominal and a copy of your documents must be shown. Note: the itinerary may change due to traffic in the city.
