Overview of your Rome tour
Allow me to lead you on a full-day private tour across the most famous UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Italy, as well as on earth. As a Licensed Roman Guide, I will help you uncovering the Pantheon's secrets and the symbols and masterpieces within St. Peter’s Basilica. (Please note that The Vatican dress code is that shoulders and knees must be covered). Besides guiding you through the highlights of the Vatican museums (including Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel frescoes), I'll be sharing stories and insights about the Eternal City as we explore its historic centre on a fun Golf Cart! I will also strive to bring Ancient Rome to life by shedding light on some of the most famous events that took place in the Colosseum. This tour is perfect for first-time visitors seeking culture, comfort, and unforgettable experiences.
Your Rome tour itinerary
-After we've met at the Vatican Museums' entrance, we'll take advantage of our skip-the-line access and step inside to see the Gallery of Maps, Gallery of Tapestries & the Gallery of the Candelabra. -Next, we'll proceed to explore the Raphael Rooms. -Afterwards, we'll visit the Sistine Chapel. -Later, I'll lead you on a guided visit of St. Peter’s Basilica. -If you'd like, we could take a break for lunch. -Next, we'll get on our golf carts and begin exploring Rome’s historic center: -We'll then stop in front of the Pantheon before visiting Piazza Navona where we'll see the fountain of the 4 rivers. -We'll later pass by the outside of the Roman Forum and the Colosseum, stopping only to take some final pictures. -The tour will conclude either near the Colosseum or at your accommodation in the city centre.
