Ciao! Let me introduce myself: I am Silvia P. a licensed tourist guide of Rome and Vatican City. I am class '74 I am married and I have a 10 years old son. How does it get better than that? Well it does with my job! My husband is french and we lived in London for a while but he once said to me that me without Rome. . . not working. . it is like I need my air!!! Guiding has been my full time job for the past 26 years. . . . and I just love it. I am passionate about what I do and my goal is for my clients to be able to fall in love with Rome the way I do. After all the experience in the field and the knowledge I have cultivated I feel confident to say that I am the most reliable person to help you plan your stay in Rome. I like to call myself a Concierge guide: giving you advices and guidance not only about the tours and the best time to visit the main sites in terms of crowds and weather, but also helping you with tips only a local can give. . . where is the best Gelato? or the best Pizza? Whether you want to dive in history and art or catch the more glamorous side of Rome, if your holiday is about having fun with your kids. . . I am your guide! I can arrange all sorts of tours, if there is something you are curious about, or you have heard of but it is not listed. . . send me an email and I will help you make it happen. All my tours are with skipping the lines tickets and timing can change for the tours depending on the season and the day I will advice you in what is best for you. In high season in order to confirm the tour I need to check tickets availability first. My number one priority is to give you a memorable experience of Rome and help you make the most of your time here. Tourist guide License 2000 Majored in Anthropology in 2004 I am not a driver. I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

The tour will help you navigate the smallest country in the world but the richest in terms of works of art. I have been giving tours of Vatican City for the last 26 years and let me tell you this is the way to go, it is one of the most visited attrctions in teh world and it is no secret how busy the Museums can be. With this tour we will try to bit the crowds. We will never be alone but at least we will be among the first to enter. What I love the most of this tour is that the galleries will be as empty as they can be. The Vatican Museums host one of the most important collections of Greek and Roman art, part of it is the Sistine Chapel and Raphael's Rooms. We will meet at 7. 15 outside the Vatican Museums, while we wait for the Museums to open at 8 o'clock I will explain the Sistine Chapel so that once we enter we will start touring right away.
Vatican Museums Highlights Galleries - Strolll along Raphael's Room Sistine Chapel - visit inside St. Peter's Basilica - inside Vatican City has a dress code rule: knees and shoulders have to be covered to enter the Sistine Chapel you can come sleeveless but bring a jacket or a scarf to cover up, short only up to the knees. No big back packs or umbrellas, or phone's bank powers are allowed in. The tickets are all NOMINAL so I need your full names at the time of booking, mandatory security check in place.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
