My name is Pietro, I'm a professional tour guide. I was born and I still live in Rome; over 30 years ago I married a Brazilian girl and we have three boys, I have dual passports and I have a degree in political science and a second specialization in ancient history. I have numerous authorizations to practice the profession, I am an authorized guide in Italy, a professional guide in Rome and into the Vatican, a specialized guide of the Colosseum archaeological park and I also have the authorization issued by the security authority to enter the port of Civitavecchia, the one where Cruise ships dock when they stop in Rome. I also own a latest model Mercedes Benz minivan, with all the options and comforts, which can accommodate up to 8 passengers, including the driver, and an electric golf car to move easily and ecologically through the wonderful alleys and narrow streets of my city so as to easily reach any tourist attraction. I also have a special authorization issued by the municipality of Rome which allows me to enter with my vehicles in all the areas of the city, including what we call ZTL (limited traffic zones), which include ninety percent of the historical centre. I consider myself lucky to have been born and raised in the city of Rome. Since I was a child, I spent many days of my youth in continual exploration of the most famous Churches, Museums, Catacombs and Roman historical sites, as well as the beautiful and semi-unknown artistic and historical jewels that Rome hides like a casket. All of which to this day continue to surprise and delight me, and many years ago I realized that my future work needed to encompass me sharing my love for all of these elements. So when I finished the University, I continued to study for another two years and I obtained the professional authorizations which later allowed me to transform my passion into a profession. Until my marriage, I traveled across continents and held many jobs, and today I am fully dedicated to being a tour guide . In my opinion my work is absolutely fantastic, and despite the years I continue to have the same passion and enthusiasm as at the beginning, I love empathizing with my clients, I love working for families, I almost always manage to find keys to interest the children, even the youngest ones (which I adore) and I think I have the sufficient experience to personalize every day of work following the personalities, desires, preferences and level of education of my clients, to try to give them what they they expect from me. In my career I have never worked with large groups, but only with small groups and families, also because I don't like Sharing Tours that don't allow me to do what I love most : give customers an unforgettable, unique experience, created and studied through the customization I mentioned earlier I proudly offer our clients a service based on years of experience and genuine love for Italy. By listening to your needs and desires I can effectively contribute to making your vacation in this beautiful country a memorable one. Italy is truly a "museum without walls" full of fascinating history, exceptional art and incredible architecture. With my expertise , you will savor not only a comprehensive historical perspective but also the cuisine, music and the people that bring the traditions and culture of Italy to life. Simply I try every day to treat our customers like old friends coming for visit. I always offer the opportunity to my guests not only in touring them but also in showing them life in Italy whether it be by sharing the way we make a simple sauce, sharing about our interests or sharing the affresco's of the Sistine Chapel. Everything is a part of the experience. From the history, traditions, sounds, people, food and religion, so my guests have the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in over 3000 years of history and to see the real Italy… Professional tour Guide in Italy Professional tour Guide in Roma Special Pass of Colosseum Archeological Park Professional tour Guide in the Vatican MINIVAN MERCEDES BENZ with NCC license , Authorization for the restricted areas ( ZTL ) for all my vehicles No restrictions

Personally I have always loved Tivoli for these two wonderful locations, I spent hours of my youth and adolescence inside Villa d'Este, especially studying and reading in the shade of the spectacular and majestic trees of those immense botanical gardens, especially in summer when the temperatures were certainly cooler than in Rome due to the huge amount of fountains. But above all I always went crazy for the beauty of Villa Adriana and especially a section called Canopo which represents a part of Egypt on the Nile river, which was probably the most beautiful part of the villa where the emperor loved to organize parties to amaze his important guests. Must be seen to be believed! A day of relaxing out of the chaos of Rome, the wonders of the marvelous residence of two powerful men among olive groves, two walking tours interspersed with a characteristic lunch in a lovely location of the ancient city.
- After a lovely short drive of about 40 minutes we will reach the town of Tivoli (the ancient Tibur), you will visit with me in two guided walking tours the best of the town, with in the between a spectacular lunch in a fantastic location. - In the morning we will visit in a couple of hours the Villa d'Este a 16th-century villa, famous for its terraced hillside Italian Renaissance garden and especially for its profusion of fountains. It is now an Italian state museum, and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. - After we will spend about 1 hour in a local restaurant to recharge the batteries - In the afternoon we will reach the bottom of the town to visit the Hadrian's Villa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site comprising the archeological ruins and a large villa complex built c. AD 120 by Roman Emperor Hadrian. - Hadrian's Villa is a vast area of land with many pools, baths and fountains, we will spent here about 2 hours, before to drive back Rome where you will be dropped off right in front of your hotel
