For the last 15 years, I have been fortunate and honoured to present the treasures of the Eternal City to many tourists through my tours of this enchanting city. Rome continues to inspire me with its unique charm, its wealth of monuments, and especially the lesser-known attractions that are not on the main touristic paths. I always feel thrilled to witness the enthusiasm and joy in my guests’ eyes at the end of our tours! In the future, I intend to provide not only the traditional and most famous tours of the Colosseum, the Ancient Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, and the Vatican Museums with the Sistine Chapel but also lesser-known routes, particularly for travellers who have visited the city multiple times. These will include places like the Doria Pamphilj Gallery, Colonna Gallery, and the Capitoline Museums, as well as Christian-related itineraries and some less touristy Roman neighbourhoods and charming small towns like Palestrina. If my calendar appears unavailable, please contact me anyway. I can organize private transportation by private car and driver. I provide pick-up and drop-off at the hotel or port via the driver. The Colosseum is undoubtedly the most frequented landmark in Rome, having been constructed 2000 years ago. It served as a venue for entertaining the Romans through gladiatorial battles, venatios & hunts. The preservation of the Colosseum over the ages can be attributed not only to its architecture but also to the entire system for capturing animals such as lions, elephants, and giraffes for morning shows, along with the clever lift system in the underground that raised heavy cages into the arena, making it one of the most significant sites in Ancient Rome. The Roman Forum functioned as the heart of the empire, housing the Senate and major temples. It served as a marketplace and was the site of triumphal processions. Today, visitors can still walk along one of the earliest Roman-paved streets in this area. This tour is highly recommended for those particularly interested in ancient Roman history.

·Once we've gathered, we'll step into the Colosseum & explore its first & second level. ·Next, we'll pass by the Arch of Constantine. ·We'll then explore Palatine Hill Emperors' Palace's remains & see the Domus Augustana & Domus Flavia (Domitian's Palace). ·We'll proceed to Domus Tiberiana's terrace with a breathtaking panoramic view over the Roman Forum, where we'll go next. ·Finally in the Forum, we'll see: -Arch of Titus -Temple of Julius Caesar -Temple of Saturn -House of the Vestal Virgins -Basilica of Maxentius -Temple of Romulus (outside) -Temple of Antonino & Faustina -Arch of Settimius Severus -Curia - Roman Senate This itinerary can be customized according to your requests, and could be done reversely according to Colosseum ticket's time slot. Please bring a copy of your passport (paper copy or photo on your phone), since the tickets are nominal & ID must be shown. NOTE: during the Winter from November to February the latest time to start the tour is 1:00 PM.

This is a walking tour, so I suggest bringing a bottle of water & comfortable shoes. If you book during the summer, be sure not to forget a hat, sunscreen & sunglasses. If you book during the winter, I recommend bringing a raincoat or small umbrella just in case. Please contact me if there are people with mobility issues in your group or if a wheelchair is needed, the itinerary will be different.
