Ciao everyone! My name is Natalia and I am 100% Roman, born and grew up in this wonderful and vibrant city, in a neighborhood close to the Vatican area where I live with my family. Since I completed the high school I decided to concentrate my studies to the art and archaeology. After my degree in Art History I specialized on Italian Renaissance Art and spent some years of working as museum educator in ancient Roman sites and museums like the Borghese Gallery. In 2008 I began working as tour coordinator for big companies, and in 2010 I passed the examination and got the tourist guide license issued by the Roman Tourism Board/Council. I like arranging and doing personalized tours for groups and schools from Italy and different countries, but mainly for individual clients tailoring every part according to their needs. Often my guests are families or the not-so-youthful travelers, and I really like sharing with them my favorite corners, where to find secret treasures or also family-run restaurants or the best gelato places. I am passionate about so many things... it is impossible to list them all…. food, books, activities with my 7 years old son, travels and art for sure! This walking tour of 3 hours takes you through the symbols and landmarks of the Ancient Rome: the huge Colosseum (built in only 8 years), the well preserved Arch of Constantine, the Roman Forum with its sanctuaries, temples and civil buildings, and the superb and green Palatine hill. We will walk around the arena and discover the different techniques used in the Amphitheatre of the Flavian dynasty, better known as the Colosseo. Moving on we will visit the area of the birth and development of the Roman civilization: the Forum, political, civil, religious hub of the Roman Republic and then of the Empire. The Palatino where the kings and the emperors once lived will amaze you with its remains and beauty.
