The best way to understand the Capital of the Ancient Roman Empire is to visit the Colosseum, Forum Valley and the Palatine Hill. When we enter this area, you will have the feeling to be in a time machine, imaging the people who built this amazing amphitheatre, better known as the Colosseum. We will believe to watch the games with wild animals and gladiators, we will feel the excitement of the spectators and may bet on the winners. Then we go to the Forum Valley, the heart of the Empire administration and the place where "all roads" started. Last but not least the impressive Palatine Hill, which housed the emperors for centuries, very close to the city centre and to the River Tiber.
Highlights: We will visit the Colosseum from the inside: first and second level (Arena as optional). To continue the tour admiring the Arch of Constantine We will arrive at the Roman Forum, where we will see the ancient ruins and learn about the history of ancient Rome: the Arch of Titus, Temple of Julius Caesar, Temple of Saturn, House of the Vestals, Basilica of Maxentius, Temple of Romulus (outside), Temple of Antoninus and Faustina, Arch of Septimius Severus, Roman Senate (Curia Senatus). The itinerary can be customized according to your requests. The itinerary could be on the reverse according to Colosseum time slot tickets. NOTE: This tour includes the Colosseum Standard Tickets. The availability of Arena tickets is limited, I will try to buy them in advance. -Please remember to bring your passport, the ticket is nominal and you must show your ID.
