My name is Rosanna and I was born and raised in Rome. Since my childhood I love art, history and travel, so I took tourism at high school. Then I moved to London, Paris and Seville to learn the languages and the culture and traditions of those countries. Back home I started my career as tour manager and I passed the exam issued by the Provincia di Roma to become an official Tourist Guide. I have been working as a guide in Rome for 15 years and I love to show to Italians and foreign visitors the Eternal City. I work with couples, families, groups and I am very glad to tell stories and make people familiar with the Italian art, culture, history and food. Every day is different thank to my guests enthusiasm because they want to see, hear and feel the astonishing art and history of this unique City, and discover the hidden corners. Finally, we visit the Palatine Hill, home to emperors for centuries, overlooking the Forum and the Tiber River. This private tour brings the drama, history, and grandeur of Ancient Rome vividly to life, making the past unforgettable.
Your Rome tour itinerary
Highlights: We will visit the Colosseum from the inside: first and second level (Arena as optional). To continue the tour admiring the Arch of Constantine We will arrive at the Roman Forum, where we will see the ancient ruins and learn about the history of ancient Rome: the Arch of Titus, Temple of Julius Caesar, Temple of Saturn, House of the Vestals, Basilica of Maxentius, Temple of Romulus (outside), Temple of Antoninus and Faustina, Arch of Septimius Severus, Roman Senate (Curia Senatus). The itinerary can be customized according to your requests. The itinerary could be on the reverse according to Colosseum time slot tickets. NOTE: This tour includes the Colosseum Standard Tickets. The availability of Arena tickets is limited, I will try to buy them in advance. -Please bring a copy of your passport (hard copy or photo on your phone) tickets are nominal and you must show a copy of your documents. NOTE: during the Winter from November to February the latest time to start the tour is 1:00 PM.

-Walking Tour. -Please write me if there are people with mobility problems and if you use or need a wheelchair, the itinerary will be different. -For security reasons, all visitors must be checked with metal detectors. -Only small bags/backpacks are permitted (size 40x35x15). Long umbrellas are not permitted. -I suggest to bring a bottle of water and to wear comfortable shoes. -During the summer, be sure not to forget a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses. -During the winter, be sure not to forget a raincoat or small umbrella.
