Ciao everyone! My name is Natalia and I am 100% Roman, born and grew up in this wonderful and vibrant city, in a neighborhood close to the Vatican area where I live with my family. Since I completed the high school I decided to concentrate my studies to the art and archaeology. After my degree in Art History I specialized on Italian Renaissance Art and spent some years of working as museum educator in ancient Roman sites and museums like the Borghese Gallery. In 2008 I began working as tour coordinator for big companies, and in 2010 I passed the examination and got the tourist guide license issued by the Roman Tourism Board/Council. I like arranging and doing personalized tours for groups and schools from Italy and different countries, but mainly for individual clients tailoring every part according to their needs. Often my guests are families or the not-so-youthful travelers, and I really like sharing with them my favorite corners, where to find secret treasures or also family-run restaurants or the best gelato places. I am passionate about so many things... it is impossible to list them all…. food, books, activities with my 7 years old son, travels and art for sure! Have an idea for a customized tour in Rome or in its surroundings? Don't hesitate to get in touch with me and we'll explore the possibilities together. I am looking forward to welcoming you here in Rome and in the Vatican City! Official licensed guide of Rome. Rome was built layer by layer over the centuries: many examples are in the historical centre of the city, especially in the area of the Forum and at Saint Clemente Basilica. I will bring you back in time walking down almost 45 feet in depth through the three underground levels of the San Clemente, worship site since the 1st century AD, and today like a secret place, hiding a source of water and many stories. Left that area and passed by the Ludus Magnus where the gladiators lived and trained, we will discover the symbols and landmarks of the Ancient Rome: the Colosseum built in the area of Nero's residence in only 8 years by the Flavian dynasty, the magnificent and well preserved Arch of Constantine, the Roman Forum with its sanctuaries, temples and civil buildings, hub of the Roman Republic and the Empire, and at the end the superb and green Palatine hill where the kings and the emperors once lived.
•Saint Clemente Basilica with undergrounds: Ludus Magnus area •Colosseum : first and second level, Arena stage (as optional) •Palatine Hill emperors: Domus Tiberiana terrace with breathtaking panoramic view over Roman Forum •Roman Forum: Arch of Titus Temple of Julius Caesar House of the Vestal Virgins Basilica of Maxentius Temple of Romulus Temple of Antonino and Faustina Arch of Septimius Severus Curia - Roman Senate The itinerary can be customized according to your requests The itinerary could be on the reverse according to Colosseum time slot tickets. IMPORTANT: This tour includes the Colosseum Standard Tickets. The availability of Arena tickets is limited, I will try to buy them in advance. -Please write me if there are people with mobility problems and if you use or need a wheelchair, the itinerary will be different. -Please bring a copy of your passport (hard copy or photo on your phone) tickets are nominal and you must show a copy of your documents.
